There isn't a morality system, but there's a light-side ending (which leads into the sequel) and a dark-side ending (which leads into the DLC) based on the character you decide to fight at the end of the game.
It's better than this version in my opinion. This version is frustrating, with frustrating boss battles and combat isn't all that great on the PS3 and 360 version. The PSP version is the best, but the Wii, PS2, and Nintendo Switch version is also great, as they are the same, just without the PSP version bonus content.
I don’t know how mindpulp does it, but every time I find myself sad or slipping into a depressive epidemic, mindpulp always releases a video just when I need a good laugh in life
I know this isn't Battlefront, but seeing these graphics flooded me with flashbacks of Battlefront and Battlefront 2. Time to redownload it on Steam for the 100th time...
I think my favorite moment in the game is when Starkiller’s droid finally goes rogue and tries to kill him, using some bosses you’ve fought before. After a few phases, SK goes “it’s no use! There’s no one in there I haven’t fought before,” only for it to go “Oh, but Master, I do have ONE you haven’t fought before; one I’ve been holding onto for many years,” and brings out freaking Darth Maul!
Fun fact: there was a ps2 version of this game, that is usually regarded as the best version of the forced unleashed, having played the ps2 version as a kid, there is no other experience like it.
It was the era where the game you play is different based on what console you had. Another example was Spider-Man 3 as the ps2 and ps3 versions were different. I liked the ps2 version of this game also
4:24 I agree we need fun Ragdolls back in videogames. Also havock and euphoria engines were used in the force unleashed, same as GTA4 and skate (a bunch of triple A games used it at the time)
I love how it goes from the super serious scene of Vader ending Starkillers master and taking him as an apprentice - to a gonk droid being thrown while screaming like Homer Simpson
This game actually used 3 engines for their ragdolls and environmental destruction. Havok, Euphoria and DMM (Digital Molecular Matter). The engine demos for TFU got me super hyped back then and Euphoria, which is responsible for ragdolls dynamically grabbing onto each other for example is actually acquired or at least used in Rockstars Rage Engine since GTA 4.
I played this CONSTANTLY on my DS! I also played the Wii version and I remmeber that SO fondly with the fun controls, new characters, etc. I actually only played this console version a year or two ago. But all versions of this game give me so much nostalgia!

Republic Commando is up there for Star Wars games, but its a tough tactical shooter, even on pc. You really have to place your squad in the correct positions and formations to win fights.
If you guys want a better experience of the game, play either the ps2 or wii version. Not only does it have more passion towards them but there are multiple challenges, more characters, more lightsaber colors, more planets to visit, but it's a lot of fun and doesn't feel at all rushed like this version
Yeah, no that's not true at all. The PS2/Wii version does have more levels... but they are shorter and WAY more repetitive than the PS3 version's levels. The combat and camera are also nowhere near as tight.
@@AllardRT kinda hard when the characters use cheaty attacks. The other one I at least could overpower them by using awesome combos without having Starkiller move like the nobodies from Kingdom Hearts 2
@@TheLiesOfReality Yeah, pressing the dodge button is a forgotten art these days. Not to mention using the lightning shield. Awesome combos? In PS2 TFU? Get out. And do tell me how you overpowered the jetpack troopers with them, that I would really love to hear.

Oh, such a nostalgia trip for me. Absolutely played this game for so many playthroughs - if you care to know, Kazdan Paratus is only vulnerable to lightning attacks because of his droid leg rig - shock him to stun before attacking with anything else.
A great game from the PS3 era with a story written by James Gunn you should play is Lollipop Chainsaw. I personally have it on 360 and it's a really fun game where it blends humor from both old early 2000s movies and anime. It's just all around a fun game that I think you'd love.
One of the exceedingly few games I preordered and waited until midnight to get. It was so worth it! Of course, back then you could be more sure that a new game was going to be fun, not at all like today~
AcTuAlLy! If Vader tries to use FoRcE LiGhTNinG he will die because his suit is built so that Palpatine could reduce his powers and keep him in check with his own lightning. And Vader has rowbot hands, force lightening cant be generated by rowbots.
Jedi Outcast/Academy in VR is a downright revelation. Motion controlled force push/pull, even lightsaber throwing feels legit real. Combined with realism violence and graphics mods it's absolutely amazing. Runs on Quest 2 also with no PC required.
This is one of my favorite Star Wars games that takes place in the Legends EU timeline! It was how the rebellion started a lot more interesting than in canon. With a kid Darth Vader took with him after killing his father code naming him Starkiller and planned to use him to root out Palpatine's enemies. Afterwards Starkiller decided to rescue them and his sacrifice inspired Bail Organa Mon Mothma Leia and the others to found the rebel alliance to overthrow the empire. Then in the second game the rebel alliance was a little more stronger than in canon. Also Vader used a very convincing Starkiller clone, or I think it was the real thing alive after all. Anyway I really wish they would make a third The Force Unleashed game that continues where the second one left off.
This was my favorite game when it came out. I remember discovering that you could just use force push to bounce the bridges that the Wookies were on and they would fly up and down like Rocket Racoon did to the Ravagers in Guardians 2. There was a fun achievement called Worst Day-Shift Manager Ever for killing 12 Stormtroopers as Darth Vader. I loved how it allowed you to make choices to go Jedi or Sith and had different endings. I bought all the DLC and beat it multiple times on different difficulties. The part where you had to pull down the Star Destroyer using the force was epic!
This was the first game i got for the Xbox 360 and was the reason I was able to get one. I only had the OG but I wanted it so bad. Somehow my mom understood despite her previous arguments about xbox live. So for it being the only game I had for the system, it held its own quite well.
I remember playing this game when I was a kid as I both played it on the Nintendo DS and the Wii. Both were a blast to playthrough as I did my best to work my way to the top right before I finally get my chance to challenge Darth Vader and emperor palpatine in the final level of the game, my favorite part of the game. I really wish that Lucas film could do a live action force unleashed movie in the future, it will be awesome for star wars fans to see it in the big screen and feel amazed about due to their nostalgia. Can't wait for mind pulp to do "Scarface: The world is yours" review, that game would be awesome for the guys to check them out for themselves. Keep up the good work, Mind Pulp, you deserve it. 😎👍
