Thank you, I'm glad our video helped! We rented our car through Budget, they had one of the lower rates. We paid a little extra to guarantee an automatic. We declined extra insurance because our Chase Preferred card covers rental cars in Ireland (not all cards cover Ireland because of the narrow roads and hedges). We printed out a copy of our coverage to show the rental can agent. Have fun!
We took the Naeroyfjord ferry from Flam, it stops in Gudvangen. You can take the ferry roundtrip, or spend time in Gundvangen. There is a bus right next to the Gundvangen ferry stop that goes back to Flam. I highly recommend this ferry!
Thanks! We spent 1 night in each town except Dublin (2 nights). We did drive from Galway to Dublin, it's supposed to take just over 2 hours but we kept stopping in charming little towns so it took is 5 hours.
Great video. We'll be there this Oct and this was helpful.
Glad you liked it! Have a great trip and cheers with a Guinness!
This is so cool!!!
Thanks! Ireland is cool.
This looks great. We are going to stay 5 days as well. Wha cities you stayed over ?
We stayed in Wicklow, Cork, Killarney and Galway. After the road trip we spent 2 nights in Dublin. Have fun!
Where did you rent your car? Automatic? Insurance? We're going to Ireland and Scotland in May and your video has helped immensely, thank you!!

In winter it’s dark early but in June sunset is 10 pm
Yes, all the more reason to visit in summer - more time to see things!
Kinsale is great and very popular.
Yes, I can see why. If we go back to Ireland that would be one of the places I would spend more time.
Hi - can you tell me what ferry line you used and where you left from and what town you got to. Please.

Any airport departures lounge is the best part about IRL. :)
I love Ireland, but I also love airport lounges!
How did you find the bed and breakfasts? Darling!
We loved them! Even if it wasn't a full Irish breakfast, it was very filling.
Nice video. Did you drive back to Dublin? Trying to plan for driving time, did you spend one night in each place? Thanks!

You said it was very cold. What month did you travel?
We went in February, the second coldest month in Ireland besides January. We did not get much rain, but lots of wind.
Do you still use your right foot to drive?
Yes! For us it's too much of a brain switch to use our left foot.
Do you have a list of your itinerary?
The itinerary is our first comment under the video.
