Sam I worked in mental health for short time and same attitude with some of the staff was the same and I use to think it the power v the powerless if you treat people like human being you get more out of them there is a lot of people that should never be in these jobs .Brian has grown since the last time I seen him happy new year Sam
i did borstal shortly after the film scum came out when the judge said borstal all i could think of was that film . There was a couple good officers ,tried to help the lads
Top draw that Sam, i always find you treat someone respectfully 9 times out of 10 you get it back. Manners cost nothing and in that job i bet it worked well but there always a bad apple in a barrel. Love your channel happy new year
I was in the block for 3 days for smashing a window I was 13 in Thorpe arch remand Centre in westherby Yorkshire in 1973 just like being in police custody for a few days 😔🏴
Love the vids mr samworth…people like u make prisoners life a little bit easier (depending on there charges) but u sir are brilliant…u never put anyone down u always engage u always help …that’s why u have so much respect ..also love Brian ❤️
My m8 said you was a good screw and treated people fair and you always got the apps soughted but was not a officer that would take shit you gave respect when you got respect m8
When I worked as a Prison Officer on a Hospital Wing in a Cat A Prison I had an inmate who was very troubled but over time I got to know him. He came to me one day and confessed to me that he had been raped at a previous prison I won’t name. It took tremendous courage to admit what happened to him. With his permission I got him help from counsellor’s. He was only on the wing for a short time after the counselling. He had made a bit of progress but although he thanked me for what I had done which in my eyes was nothing. I later found out that he had got a job and was going straight. If you can change one life it is worth it. I have so many experiences the same as Sam and would like to share them. Sam does such Fantastic way of telling you what really happens beyond prison walls. I have some normal experiences and I have some horrific experiences. When I what something Sam has posted I believe what he says having experienced it myself. There is still allot that went on that I am sure that Sam will agree with. I certainly didn’t.
He already has written 2 books. 'Strangeways - a prison officers story' & 'Strangeways Unlocked'. Both very interesting reads. Highly recommend both of them.

You should do a book called "tails from the cells" i think it would be very interesting sam
He already has written 2 books. 'Strangeways - a prison officers story' & 'Strangeways Unlocked'. Both very interesting reads. Highly recommend both of them.
@richardfishpool4834 but not one called tails from the cells right
No, but former prison officer John Sutton who has written 3 books has a UA-cam channel called 'Tales from the Jails' @@melvinevans9981
