Gojira / Godzilla I haven't looked back on this comment thread in a minute but I'm now noticing that you probably misread my comment as "it was shit" rather than "it was THE shit"
+Jason Long The show is both Canadian and American, the books the show is based off are by American author R.L. Stine. Most all shows are filmed in Canada, laws make it cheaper to film there.
My favorite goosebumps episode is night of the living dummy and one day at horrorland The scarecrow walk at midnight Monster blood The haunted mask The werewolf of fever swamp Attack of the Jack o lantern Werewolf skin Attack of the mutant Welcome to dead house A shocker on shock streets A night in terror tower Return of the mummy
I used to watch it on Netflix and then the film kind of ruined it for me but I still remember Night Of The Living Dummy and One Day In Horrorland. NOTLD I liked because it’s interesting imo. And Horrorland just because I LOOOOVE theme parks now! There was also the one with the floating hands playing the piano at the end but I forgot the name
Watching these episodes as an adult, I'm still impressed by R.L. Stein's and the producers ability to create a real feeling of tension and horror that was still kid friendly. They mentioned this recurring theme of authority figures not believing you, and that was prevalent in almost every story. It's super effective because at that age you're essentially at the mercy of your parents or guardians because you don't have the power to make important decisions on your own.
So very true & same here & now I watch them with my kids. And I had a few of tha books 2.And I probably still do In storage sum where :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Nintendo Reviewer Nah 2 was the scariest. That damn doll stood up outta nowhere and didn’t nobody know it was alive talkin bout some “Its good to be back in the family.” 😳
1. A Night In Terror Tower 2. The Werewolf Of Fever Swamp 3. The Haunted Mask 4. Stay Out Of The Basement 5. Welcome To Dead House 6. The Haunted Mask 2 7. Night Of The Living Dummy 2 8. Chilogy 9. One Day At Horrorland 10. Night Of The Living Dummy 3
The Haunted Mask really brings me to tears. I feel so much sympathy for Carly Beth and how she was driven to the point where she no longer even liked herself. Nobody should have to go through the emotional pain and agony that she went through.
I felt sympathy for Amy from Night of the living dummy II. Everyone turned on her and she even lost a friend because of things she wasn't doing. And she couldn't prove it because who would believe a dummy is alive if they hadn't seen it
The nostalgia is strong with this list.... Goosebumps was my childhood. Think I watched every episode and read every book. My favorites were the pick your own path novels; the ones with multiple endings. I always died though; strangled to death or turned into a wax statue or something like that lol good times
GoopHug There is no such thing as a mature, male brony. They are pathetic children who like a tv cartoon made for 9 year old girls. Brony children are the scum of the earth and should not be allowed out in society, they should not reproduce, we have enough trash out there as is we don't need more pathetic brony nerds.
+Aseril It's funny how people like you jump at people's interests as a way to make fun of them. It's quite pathetic, actually. I'm willing to bet you'd get REALLY defensive if someone criticized/made fun of your favorite movie/tv show.
I remember watching this series with my cousins when we were younger. Our house was under construction so we stayed at my grandma's house for the time being. My cousins came over and this series was on, and there was this one episode that we watched, called "You Don't Scare Me." It was about this girl that wasn't afraid of anything it seemed, and in the beginning, the teacher was telling a local legend about "mud monsters", and I remember when the monsters emerged from the mud and roared, I tore out of that room as fast as I could. Yeah...that gave me nightmares for a bit.
w a it I literally had a nightmare that is exactly that me in house with me and my family and my dad shoots the mud monster and does not work and at the end we all got eaten
out of all of the goosebumps episodes, the scarecrow walks at midnight episode was the scariest one, especially the scene where the girl has the nightmare
Yea, read the book. It's like every mask in that shop had a personality that was cursed on the person who dared to wear it. It changed their voice and everything.
I used to be terrified by these episodes... The intro song still gives me goosebumps tho (no pun intended) but it's also so nostalgic... I especially had a nightmare of stay out of the basement, in the dream, my dad was a plant...

I remember back when I was about 6 and I watched the werewolf of Fever Swamp VHS in my dark bedroom at night. Had nightmares for years and the occasional panic attacks. These types of episodes from the franchise really had the power to scar us to a certain degree if we were to watch them at a certain age.
I agree with Number #1. I read the book first and it scared me so bad. Also, the cover art for the books was pretty scary too (when I was a kid, of course). Did they ever make a TV episode for 'Be Careful What You Wish For'? It was a spooky story.....
I remember when I was a lot younger than I am now and I discovered Goosebumps when reruns were aired on the Hub. All though I was a scardey cat and still am now, watching this show during the day time never bothered me but at night the regrets started rolling in. I still love the show but don't really think about much these days now that it doesn't air on T.V.
I don't really remember much about it, so I dunno why but I have a vague memory of that being the scariest episode -in my opinion. I might need to give that a re-watch and see what young me saw in it that's stuck with me.
+MsStarphishy I remember reading that. I was in bed at night I remember reading the page where the person could hear the barking...Then realised the dog was under the bed...My blood went cold.
Yea, How to Kill a Monster was a good episode. I liked.........what episode was it? The one where the kid was actually a dog, but grew up as a kid. My Hairiest Adventure! That's it! Monster Blood was a good one too.
When I look back at some of these episodes these people were so stupid they could have been got out of the situation they just chose to keep going deeper into it
Looking back on this show and Are You Afraid Of The Dark, I learned something: Canadians can be pretty damn scary when they want to be. Especially when they were creating those PSAs to kids... Damn, Canada.

Idk what the episode was called but the episode with the dummy returning the dummy starts bringing other dummy's to life and turns little Hayden Christensen into a dummy. He climbs i top of him in his sleep and breaths into his mouth turning him into a dummy. When I was a kid I was so scared of that that I always slept on my chest cause I was afraid the dummy would turn me into one so sleeping on my chest wouldn't let him turn me. It was so silly but makes you laugh at little kid logic
+marblown Yeah, that one gave me nightmares as a kid...oddly enough, I never had that problem with the other ones. But all the stuff you mentioned plus (if I remember correctly) the Excorcist-type head spinning at the end of the episode was enough to scare me for a while. I liked the dummy that beat him up, though.

I remember to watch Goosebumps around 1998/99 at Fox Kids Brasil channel. I spent hours watching a lot of episodes at my grandparents' house. Miss this!
The Episode where there was an extremely old Vampire on the loose in some...idk...hospital, I want to say? But, that was freaking awesome. But, the one that truly scared me, was the one where the kid was using some sort of machine to keep himself. The way he freaking looked out of the curtains and moaned at the girl who defeated him...dang. Creepy and scary as Hell. Also, the movie, The Silver Sight, there was a time I was absolutely obsessed with that movie. A true masterpiece.
I remember I used to watch this everyday when I got home from school in the 2nd grade to the 5th grade. It was when I entered middle school that I started actually reading the books
Oh, I remember watching one of my friend's Goosebumps movies when I was a 6 year old girl (my friend just happened to be the son of a close friend of my father's, and the Goosebumps video I found JUST happened to be the "Stay Out of the Basement" episode), and let me tell you, it scared the crap out of me!!!!!!!! ...But looking back on it now, it's kind of funny because I started to enjoy horror films when I was 15! XD
I am 15 and love that show so much. I watched it with my mom and honestly it's better than most "kids" shows today. I am also reading Goosebumps and Fear Street.
I love all the episodes. Even the cheesiest ones that made me laugh. One of the episodes that scared me so much was the one with the Mummy. I remember watching it along with other episodes on Fox Kids.
one of my favorite episodes of goosebumps were attack of the mutant. One day at horror land. The Night of the living dummy trilogy. the bride of the dummy. the dummy episodes creep me out when I was a kid
Goosebumps man, I was so addicted to these books when I was a teenager for some reason then when I saw it come on tv for the first time I was like huh! It's about to be a tv show now? I felt like somebody read my mind as i was thinking what if these books were kinda...real or seen as a movie or something. I think the best thing about Goosebumps when I used to read the very first books was the books always read to a TWIST at the end or some type of LESSON learn. Perfect for young minds to adapt to. Good work R. L. Stein.
Mine 10 A night in terror tower 9 Girl who cried monster 8 Monster Blood 7 The werewolf of fever swamp 6 One day at horror land 5 Stay out of the basement 4 Welcome to camp nightmare 3 Welcome to dead house 2 Haunted Mask Honorable Mentions Say Cheese and die Haunted mask II The ghost next door The cuckoo clock of doom The house of no return 1 Night of the living Dummy 3
+Chestosneako Inc if you didn't realize there's more than one person talking here so next time be specific or not even say that stuff at all. People like you ruin the Internet
+Wolvakiin Amen to that. At least R.L. Stine doesn't take 600 pages to tell a story! Sorry King, but Cujo was the first and only book I've read from you...
When an episode has two parts you know it's a classic.
oh yeah!
heck yeah just like dead house. it was the first book of the series.
Indeed. The best!
I would not consider Attack of the Mutant, Deep Trouble, and How I Got My Shrunken Head classics

A Night in Terror Tower wasnt at all scary to be honest.
But the Werewolf of Fever Swamp freakin scared me to death.
It may not have been that scary, but it was a good episode. That was a pretty good adaptation of the book.
Nah. Werewolf was good, but Terror Tower was much more disturbing and frightening.
+the ironwolf45 why are you still alive then you're so dumb
Both scared me but tower definitely bothered me more.
Yeah I know right? The Tower of Terror was a thriller, but Werewolf of Fever Swamp was terrifying.
The Haunted Mask really brings me to tears. I feel so much sympathy for Carly Beth and how she was driven to the point where she no longer even liked herself. Nobody should have to go through the emotional pain and agony that she went through.

The ghost next door is one of the saddest episodes to me. It is one of the most memorable.
What happened
The mask episode made me too scared to put them on
The ghost next door fucked me up for real
6:51 Honestly, Ryan Gosling was everywhere! I saw him in Are You Afrid of The Dark as well. I love him so it's great.
I agree with Number #1. I read the book first and it scared me so bad. Also, the cover art for the books was pretty scary too (when I was a kid, of course). Did they ever make a TV episode for 'Be Careful What You Wish For'? It was a spooky story.....
+KATE KALUNGA They did actually, you should watch it (:
man, the haunted mask is famous to scare the shit outta everyone who read it and/or watch it
+Phoebe Hernandez the mask was OK not great it was creepy
The Werewolf of Fever Swamp was always my favorite Goosebumps installation. Got me into loving the werewolf genre. I do not regret it.
Loved Goosebumps books & the T.V. series when I was younger. Still LOVE it to this day!
Jamal Sampson same
Jamal Sampson I know right just had a goosebumps vid and bookathon
Me too. Did you ever read the Fear Street books?
Same
me too!
Are you gonna make one for the R.L Stine Haunting Hour Series?
YES!!! I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!!!!!!!
I remember that show the best! Since it came on in the late 2000s, great show, fond memories of it!
Haunting hours better than ayaotd and goosebumps imo.i watched goosebumps and ayaotd as a kid and haunting hour as a late teen
Calling all Creeps! Calling all Creeps! When is the meeting?
+Hidden Nightmares It was one of the few dark episodes. I'm surprised that it wasn't mentioned. Also, the Invisible boy episode had a bleak ending.
+Alex Santiago Amen to that, bro. Amen to that.
God I loved that one
+Alex Santiago 4:30 every thursday starting this Thursday.
had to start with the signature piano keys... soft tingzzz
I can't remember why but the one about ghost dogs fucked me up, I think it was called The Barking Ghost?
I don't really remember much about it, so I dunno why but I have a vague memory of that being the scariest episode -in my opinion. I might need to give that a re-watch and see what young me saw in it that's stuck with me.
+MsStarphishy I remember reading that. I was in bed at night I remember reading the page where the person could hear the barking...Then realised the dog was under the bed...My blood went cold.
+MsStarphishy You mean the one where two kids were ghost and so were the grandparents?
+Lewis Weir no, that's ghost beach. and it was the best goosebumps book.
+MsStarphishy That one scared the hell out of me as a kid! I never saw the episode but own the book.
Do top ten twilight zone episodes next
lol that would be impossible, there are way too many good episodes
+Sanjana Thahura Yes, yes. I agree. Please +watchmojo I've been waiting for that for long time.

+Sanjana Thahura That would be so awesome. But, suggestions must be submitted to their main website.
+Sanjana Thahura Much yes
So, WatchMojo doesn't know the difference between a gun and a crossbow?
😂😂😂
monster: keep running child,i like FAST FOOD
wow,im dying😂😂😂
My favorite one is How to kill a Monster. It was awesome, getting trapped with monster in a old creepy house, it was the best imo.
+freedomslastflight Yeah man mines too.
Yea, How to Kill a Monster was a good episode. I liked.........what episode was it? The one where the kid was actually a dog, but grew up as a kid. My Hairiest Adventure! That's it! Monster Blood was a good one too.
My hairiest adventure I think not sure tho sorry.
When I look back at some of these episodes these people were so stupid they could have been got out of the situation they just chose to keep going deeper into it
Yea, I guess that's what makes it interesting. ;)
Looking back on this show and Are You Afraid Of The Dark, I learned something: Canadians can be pretty damn scary when they want to be. Especially when they were creating those PSAs to kids... Damn, Canada.
7:04 "That's Ryan Gosling!"
7:05 "Yes that is Ryan Gosling."
lol
I've always loved the Fever Swamp one

Hi
Hissssssssssssss
whats the pay?
can you please do the haunting hour
Lil Moy Cabrera i was thinking same thing
Idk what the episode was called but the episode with the dummy returning the dummy starts bringing other dummy's to life and turns little Hayden Christensen into a dummy. He climbs i top of him in his sleep and breaths into his mouth turning him into a dummy. When I was a kid I was so scared of that that I always slept on my chest cause I was afraid the dummy would turn me into one so sleeping on my chest wouldn't let him turn me. It was so silly but makes you laugh at little kid logic
night of the living dummy III
+Gavin Hebert - that was baby hayden christensen!?!
Night of the living dummy 3
It's night of the living dummy 3. That one should have been 1
+marblown Yeah, that one gave me nightmares as a kid...oddly enough, I never had that problem with the other ones. But all the stuff you mentioned plus (if I remember correctly) the Excorcist-type head spinning at the end of the episode was enough to scare me for a while. I liked the dummy that beat him up, though.
The one i've always remembered is the scarecrow walks at night and the mummy episode where the 2 kids and their grandpa explore a desert ruin
the living dummy one was the only goosebumps episode that gave me nightmares as a kid
Me too 😂
+Remi Downing samee 🔪😨
it's a complete rip off of Chucky

+drequan maiden 👊👊✊✊👊👊👊
Prolly not a coincidence. You'll be seeing/hearing goosebumps pop up here and there because the goosebumps movie is coming out soon.
I remember to watch Goosebumps around 1998/99 at Fox Kids Brasil channel. I spent hours watching a lot of episodes at my grandparents' house. Miss this!
Top 10 Are You Afraid Of The Dark Episodes (Do it for Halloween!)
+Rob Cob nope , the vampire on the hospital
+Jesus “jesuscc91” C nope night of the living dummy 3 part 1&2
Alex Ochoa that is from goosebumps we are talking about "are you afraid of the dark?"
YAS!
Wow. So many of these child actors went on to be huge stars. Crazy.
I thought it was only Ryan Gosling and Hayden Christensen 🤔
What about "Ghost Beach" am I right.
daaaa ghoooost beeeach
I didn't like that one
I'd post a jontron quote, but I can't think of one.
I like the perfect school it was very creepy
+Jacob Butcher perfect schools protagonist first and last name is the exact same as Paul walker in the fast and the furious series
XD
I wish they made more than 4 seasons. 😢
The Haunted Mask was by far the best one, but I think the sequel should have been mentioned too. It felt just as scary if not more.
+Rockmusicforever90 My favourites were dummy episodes, the Haunted Mask, Cry of the Cat and A Shock at Shocker street.
i agree !
+Rockmusicforever90 It was pretty cool seeing Adam West in Attack of the Mutant
MisterX867 OH Yeah Adam West was in that episode I had to watch the episode again yeah it was cool seeing him there
Return of the Mummy is my favorite episode, and Stay Out of the Basement and Night of the Living Dummy III are my other favorites.
L. Stein.

That and the episode of the guy getting trapped in the tv are the only ones I can remember. Good memories...
+Chestosneako Inc im sorry did we ask for your opinion
Carson Mann I'm sorry, was I talking to you?! NO! Mind your own business!
+Chestosneako Inc if you didn't realize there's more than one person talking here so next time be specific or not even say that stuff at all. People like you ruin the Internet
R.L. Stine > Stephen King
That could be debatable
in my opinion
+Wolvakiin
Amen to that. At least R.L. Stine doesn't take 600 pages to tell a story! Sorry King, but Cujo was the first and only book I've read from you...
Kids: R.L. Stine > Stephen King Teens&Adults: R.L. Stine < Stephen King
Fact
+LadyCeag840 actually more pages the better lol
Dang, i read almost all the books as a kid in around 2009 and never realised there was a tv series, you bet im watching this now
Jack Black bout to fuck up the franchise.
+Hopeton Smith (Jr_Smyth98) So what else is new? He pretty much fucks up EVERYTHING......
So u aint watching the new movie??
Itoverwith Playa Nah...They can keep that shit.
so you're telling me he wrote it, directed it, and completely controlled the production
Itoverwith Playa Hell no! When I think "Goosebumps" I think "childish horror," not "romantic teen comedy."
