I really appreciate that your channel covers anything that you find interesting. It always makes for a fun surprise whenever I see a new vid. Certain channels, I know what to expect, and sometimes I wait until way later to check a vid because I know its more of the same. All this to say, love your work! Keep it up :D
The more I look at Tim Jacobus' artwork, the more I appreciate it. The colors, lighting, and perspectives feel very dreamlike. All of his art just SCREAMS 80's to me. It reminds me of something you'd see in old videogame manuals or animated commercials from the time, albeit much, MUCH more impressive.
Lmao one of my favorite covers, Egg Monsters, ended up so far down 😂 Welp, It so happens to be my favorite book so I’ll drop a quick review: The book is a clear parody of E.T. But done well. The Egg Monsters, which are actually from Mars (so not another lying title) are actually not a threat and more of an ally, which subverts expectations. And the reason the book has ‘two scenes’ is because half the book is spent discovering the egg and if hatching, the next half spent locked in a laboratory freezer full of Egg Monsters by a mad scientist. It’s fun and even a little tense, as well as creative. The ending… well, let’s just say the Eggs got a little freaky with main character (not even a joke). Amazing video, man! I’m excited to check out part two.
the cover for night in terror tower horrified me as a kid, i usually just thought these covers looked weird but that one got me. thank god i didn’t see the camp cold lake cover till i was a full grown adult, would’ve pissed my pants in the school library lol
Yeah, Tim Jacobus drew some of the humans, he took reference photos of him or his kids I think, that's why there's a lot of Converse because they were big in the 90's
Goosebumps are one of my most favourite franchises and I always loved their Cover arts, this is gonna be an absolute blast of a video for me! Thankers Jallolord!!
why is jallo prejudiced against slime mosters. i mean not liking them is one thing. calling them “goopers” and docking points for it is just uncalled for.
Can’t wait for pt. 2!! Both of my favorites will be there “Don’t go in the Basement” and “Don’t go to Sleep”. I think both have good titles and I vividly remember me being terrified of DGTS
Though your channel is mainly focused on varied topics I’d love to see your thoughts on some of the other covers in the series such as 2000, Most Wanted, Horror Land, etc. Great video man I can’t wait for part 2!❤
Fun fact: Tim Jacobus actually lives in my town, often arriving at book signing's, my friend actually has a signed picture by him and made by him with his signature skeletons.
Egg monsters from mars was the first goosebumps book i read from my school's library. I dont remember a lot about it, but it holds a weird spot in my heart
I will say this about Fever Swamp's cover, yes the wolf isn't as eye catching as a werewolf probably should be. Personally I like the subtlety but for me the simplicity of the wolf took my eye off the focal point and directs me to the swamp. It feels Gothic and dirty and also here's the kicker: A set of a boys' clean clothes next to the wolf. We know from the title that it's meant to be a werewolf and the fact that there's no blood means that those clothes belong to the werewolf. Spoiler for the story but the wolf turns out to be the main character's new friend. The friend is a child. In most of the book, the protagonist assumes the werewolf to be an adult but the cover tells you that's not the case from the get go.
I honestly have a lot of nostalgia for Why I’m Afraid Of Bees’s cover. I remember seeing the book on a 6th grader’s desk in kindergarten, and looking pretty intriguing. It was one of my earliest exposures to Goosebumps, and it’s one of my personal favorites books!
Weirdly enough, while I can't remember most Goodebumps book endings, Ledgend of the Lost Legend is one that was forever cemented in my mind. It's not even my favorite story, and I hardly remember anything else from it, I just always remember its ending.
Actually the main character from Cuckoo Clock of Doom was MICHAEL Webster. Tara was his bratty, sociopathic, literally abusive sister that got erased from existence at the end. ...Man, Stine must have hated that kid.
33:51 Ok I understand you may have mixed the names up of the siblings but while the book DID have a happy ending, it’s didn’t for the character Tara as the main character MICHEAL (her older brother), after getting back to the present realizes that he knocked off the year on the cuckoo clock their awful little sister, Tara was born, and the main character decides after all he went through that he rather live in the present and not mess with the clock again with the difference of not having a sister than go through that traumatic process again of reverse time. I don’t know but literally being named after a character whose so bad to the MC, that when finding out they erased you every being born, that may not seem the best lol.
Really fun video! But I gotta disagree on the My Friend is Invisible cover. I found it in our basement as a kid and the gooey pizza along with the scared cat really freaked me out as a kid. Then again choosing any of these covers to be bad is hard because the art is just so good. I would love if any of these covers got re-released as high quality poster prints for me to purchase!
Id you want to see an effective goop villain pleasssse watch the 1988 version of the blob. The way they handle the kills in it are gnarly and visceral asl. Only time that monster archetype has ever stuck with me cause its so amoeba like
Goosebumps Funko pops pop cover, which is already good and only reason is because it’s actually goosebumps covers. Can’t tell that they goosebumps Slappy a dummy who you can tell goosebumps right off the back.
I unfortunately won’t be making Jalloween this year because of the poor response to last years :( I really appreciate you wanting it though and there may be another one down the line if it becomes more financially viable
Kind of a shame I live in your basement got so low. That's one of the most mindbending books and the veiny monster on the cover is awesome. I'm not sure any of the original covers could be called outright bad. By the way is part 2 coming soon?
Bruh yellow and red is a great colour combo, and that slappy painting is awesome what are you on. Sure it's a gradient background but it works so well with the shading of the art itself. It's iconic to me and that's without nostalgia cos I dont think I ever read that one
why won’t put my thoughts on which cover will specifically be the best I think one of the ones that’ll be pretty close to the top would be say cheese and die. (the og)

Ikr!! Discovering his channel was the best thing to happen to me a few months back
Dude is just ranking everything at this point
There's a reason he's called the curator of all things curious
Video was insanely good, loved the amount of details you explained and all the fun facts!!!
I love the huge range of different videos on your channel, you've slowly became one of my favorite on this site. Keep at it goat!

Thinking about when my parents got into an argument cuz my dad kept pretending Slappy was real and going to come get me when I was like 5
Egg monsters from mars was one of my favorite covers as a kid 😅 always loved the perspective and the enfasis on the lil eggy blob
I love, “Attack of The Jack - O - Lanterns,” to death, it’s my favorite episode and book, and that twist!!..
Yeah, Tim Jacobus drew some of the humans, he took reference photos of him or his kids I think, that's why there's a lot of Converse because they were big in the 90's
Goosebumps rankings? Okayy I’m putting this on
Petition for a Goosebumps 2000 cover ranking as well
ong
Goosebumps are one of my most favourite franchises and I always loved their Cover arts, this is gonna be an absolute blast of a video for me! Thankers Jallolord!!
Huh, didn't know he regarded The Barking Ghost's cover as one of his faves, one of mine too. Guess you don't see the vision smh my head
Goosebumps? The only Goose i want to bump into is Ryan Gosling 💗
why is jallo prejudiced against slime mosters. i mean not liking them is one thing. calling them “goopers” and docking points for it is just uncalled for.
the barking ghost always stood out to me as a kid, but it is probably because i used to be OBSESSED with dogs.
Can’t wait for pt. 2!! Both of my favorites will be there “Don’t go in the Basement” and “Don’t go to Sleep”. I think both have good titles and I vividly remember me being terrified of DGTS
This video really goosed my bumps!!! 😮😮
The man wasn't afraid to give the kid characters a bad ending
Though your channel is mainly focused on varied topics I’d love to see your thoughts on some of the other covers in the series such as 2000, Most Wanted, Horror Land, etc. Great video man I can’t wait for part 2!❤
amazing video!!! was genuinely sad to see I couldn’t immediately watch part 2 lol
15:50 HOW DO YOU LOOK AT THAT BLUE AND PINK ART AND THINK "let's make this orange and yellow :)" WHAT
That would be too much pink and blue. It’s pulling the orange from the car and the yellow from the pizza.
Love you branching out from jjk a bit, hope this does well!
Love how a girl with a chicken body beats a freaky creepy Dummy in every scenario
I love the Jallomoth Den Den Mushi! Great video!
Fun fact: Tim Jacobus actually lives in my town, often arriving at book signing's, my friend actually has a signed picture by him and made by him with his signature skeletons.

Yes! this is something I am very interested in

18:40 The cover art always reminded me of Joe Dantes' segment in The Twilight Zone Movie
Need a part 2🤤
Now this is the kind of ultra specific ranking shit I can get behind
Super underrated!
Weirdly enough, while I can't remember most Goodebumps book endings, Ledgend of the Lost Legend is one that was forever cemented in my mind. It's not even my favorite story, and I hardly remember anything else from it, I just always remember its ending.
What’s the ending to it?
This is a great video.
10:35 I just realized the wings look off
13:37 I remember watching this episode in class
My number one Pick is the one with Horror Land on the Sign. I’ll be back to see how high it goes 🫡
interesting choice going from worst to best. I would've expected it to go in series order, but I kind of mess with it.
This, this will be alot of fun
19:49 bro that bug is crome
Actually the main character from Cuckoo Clock of Doom was MICHAEL Webster. Tara was his bratty, sociopathic, literally abusive sister that got erased from existence at the end. ...Man, Stine must have hated that kid.
My goat jallomoth back at it again
The Ghost Camp cover actually makes sense if you think of the girl as a past victim before the main leads showed up
Neither did I grow up in Europe, nor have I ever read any of these Goosebumps books, but I still watched the whole video.
33:51
Ok I understand you may have mixed the names up of the siblings but while the book DID have a happy ending, it’s didn’t for the character Tara as the main character MICHEAL (her older brother), after getting back to the present realizes that he knocked off the year on the cuckoo clock their awful little sister, Tara was born, and the main character decides after all he went through that he rather live in the present and not mess with the clock again with the difference of not having a sister than go through that traumatic process again of reverse time. i just watched my hairy days in the morning and then found this vid, loved the goosebumps tv show
Really fun video! But I gotta disagree on the My Friend is Invisible cover. I found it in our basement as a kid and the gooey pizza along with the scared cat really freaked me out as a kid. now this is a banger
Jjk is.. done. Looking forward to new iceberg from u mothy!
The Fever Swamp disrespect made me gasp
Frrrr
I’m gonna be honest I thought your character in the thumbnail was a pair of big naturals at first
Id you want to see an effective goop villain pleasssse watch the 1988 version of the blob.
Cant wait for horror movies top in this year (scream???)
I unfortunately won’t be making Jalloween this year because of the poor response to last years :( I really appreciate you wanting it though and there may be another one down the line if it becomes more financially viable
Sal from ComicPop was childhood friends with the Tim Jacobus's son and has told a few stories about him over the years
Since my fav cover isn't in this one, I'll wait patiently for the next part
i’m with you to the fucking end jallo
Tim Jacobus did his own version of two covers he didn't do for the 2003, i think you should at least mention them in the next part.
While bro is talking about Slappy covers and how they are not scary, I was pretty sure Slappy winked at me 🫣
Funfact the egg monster has a pg alien esque scene at the end
You should do the choose your own or maybe even series 2000 !!
Kind of a shame I live in your basement got so low. That's one of the most mindbending books and the veiny monster on the cover is awesome. I'm not sure any of the original covers could be called outright bad.
By the way is part 2 coming soon?
I got that book Egg monster from mars now I am reading it
I realize what’s wrong with Barking Ghost.
He took a human head and transposed a dog face on it. Thats why the proportions are all off.
Now rank them by how hot they are
Cool, now rank all the international covers.
You definitely meant Night of the Living Dead and not Night of the Living Mummy when discussing how Stine was somewhat derivative lol
If this two parter does well will you do the other series under tube goosebumps line?
Moth was the guy who kickstarted me giving a crap about JJK
I find it kinda funny how I disagree with quite literally all your opinions on the night of the living dummy 1 book.
hell yeah goosebumps
I live in your basement is by far my fav here
One can say eerie Indiana walk so goosebumps could run
9:27-the South Korea one is just junji ito
22:59
The kids in bros basement be like
Hey jallomoth, will there be a jalloween this year?
34:34 i love it, it's just so goofy looking
Bro gonna be ranking which type of cells are best at this point
Hello I love your videos and I was wondering if some time in the near or far future if you can do another CT ranking video and can you use mine
Gwalloyaza
I always gawk at the covers, never actually read the books
Bruh yellow and red is a great colour combo, and that slappy painting is awesome what are you on. Sure it's a gradient background but it works so well with the shading of the art itself. It's iconic to me and that's without nostalgia cos I dont think I ever read that one
a good gooper = Slimecicle
Hell yeahhhhh
After watching jjk, I just relized he has gojos realm
Still waiting on a "Ranking every moth species" video
google how many there are
@@jallomoth compared to how long the JJK iceberg depths go, 160,000 should be a walk in the park!
lol I was just wondering when the next video is coming out
Nostalgia
Shoutout Jalloplaza
why won’t put my thoughts on which cover will specifically be the best I think one of the ones that’ll be pretty close to the top would be say cheese and die. (the og)
g13 views in 2 mins bro doin well
Yessir
I don't care for the dummy either
Why I'm Afraid of Bees reminds me too much of a bad knock off of Animorphs lmao
anyone else notice jallo has big hands? not a bad thing, just an observation
You say you’ve never done a two part video your last video was only part one of a video?
🎉🎉❤
