Never thought to use a clay bar on the glass and it looks like it picked up a lot of grit. Now you won't have to use the wipers when it rains as the water will just streak off the glass. Got to love that Rejex!!
Why so many steps?🤔 I have same car so how long will this take? One hour +🤔? Throw away clay bar after done?🤔. What is life of Rejex? I have a full bottle that is at least 10 years old inside closet in house. What is expiration date of Rejex? Can I use Rain X or 303 Graphene instead?🤔
Hello. Within reason the clay bar is reusable, so the short answer is yes. To reuse the clay bar, knead it to expose a clean and grit free surface, but realize the contaminates from previous application are still in there. If the clay bar was dropped on the ground, I would just throw it away - it will pick up too much grit/stones in my opinion to take a chance. I would also they rid of it when you can’t expose a clean surface through kneading. As for REJEX, I’m certain you can get it in Ohio. Best bet would be an automotive detail supplier or online - I believe California is the only state that has difficulty getting the product. If those two suggestions fail, try a small regional airport (I know sounds odd), but that’s where I buy mine.
@@YourHomeGarage ok thanks for the info and for answering. Hopefully I can find Rejex and there are quite a few airports around me if I need to go that route.
@@YourHomeGarage never heard of that one so I'll look it up online. Thanks for the suggestion. I wish it was Spring cus I got my car (used) just this past May and I was washing it every weekend. Now it is so cold and it is getting dirty and I feel sad. I need to find a good car wash. I am in the process of winterizing my car and watching various UA-cam channels and their advice. I have to park my car on the street outside my apartment building so it will take a beating here in Ohio if we have a harsh winter. Ok bye

I would skip the 2 steps of warm water especially if you have HARD water that leaves water spots.
Excellent vid!!
Thank you!
Who knew there were so many steps to clean your windshield......
I do this deep clean in the Spring and Fall and it’s amazing how easy it is to remove dirt and grime during a regular maintenance wash.
Don't forget to clean the wipers!
You can use an SOS brillo pad as well.
Never tried that - good to know. Thank you.
Is clay bar reusable? Is Rejex sold in the states? I live in Ohio. Hi

What is sealant name do you recommend?
Rejex
A decent bit of instructions but, I had to turn off the sound track because it got very annoying.
That’s a fair comment on the music! I don’t use tracks anymore. Thank you for the comment.
