Bonus: the trunk was packed with black cats, roman candles, whisker biscuits, finger blasters, spleen splitters , nipsy daisers & lots of whistling kitty chasers 🐈🚀
Zippity doo das
Where are the auto traders?
No whistling bungholes?
With or without the scooter stick.
Whistling kitty chasers are my go to on the 4th.
A true fan bought it. Very cool.
" had to get a foot shaped gas petal installed so I stole this pile"
Life's a garden. Dig it.
The buyer having the Dirte' tattoo is the cherry on top.
"Dont try and church it up, son. Dont you mean Dirt?"
😂 😂
300K just for the Joe Dirt Mullet Wig. DANG!
DANGGGGGG lol
Got the car for free 😅
That thing looks awesome
Most foot pedals were fairly common in the 1960s and 1970s and the steering wheels too but the steering wheels were not they were basically made for lowriders and the foot pedals are probably moon eyes if I'm not mistaken I used to know Dean Moon
I got those foot pedals at Pep Boys in the late 90s. It came in a set with a brake pedal also.
Right? She acts like she doesnt know car history. Please get better steve magnante!
Great to see Tyler and April working together!👍🏻👍🏻
Not just on good morning UA-cam GMYT
One of my favorite movies and cars
Loved the wire curb finders on the wheel wells. I graduated from high school in 1970 and those were a must have option!!!
Funny story the hot air balloon part of the video and the train station part were filmed in the town of Santa Paula. Also the over view of Silverton, when he see the town the first time. Is a town in Northern California named Ferndale 😂
HIS TATTOO 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I saw that car in 2003 at Carlisle and met the guy that bought it online from the production company. He paid 7400 bucks for it. I guess you can go put a down payment on a house now.
And another fun fact around that time the following year I seen that car in traffic and I’m driving a dodge cornet trying to catch up to The guy to talk to him and he thought I was some crazy so he floored it and I chased him a little bit. We blew for every stop sign in the parking lots and he got away, but it was fun.
Carlisle PA? Neat. Somewhat local to me.
I had always thought that car was a real Daytona.
So,Now,do you know ??
@@francoisbedard7394 yep for the most part, Hollywood is all fakery
Best part about it is playing the role of joe dirt hell yea!
that's badass..and guy has the dirte tatt , he fn rocks. glad he got the car
He will enjoy that monster🤟
That's crazy this car is still around, it looked like an old beat up car in the movie with a high mileage engine. Sold for $300,000 that's overkill. I always wondered what happened to this car.
It was a mint condition purple Charger. Just painted too look like that.
Now I curious, what happened to the GTX in the movie?
One of my favorite memories at the Chrysler dealership was watching Joe Dirt 15 minutes at a time on roach coach break.
I wonder if they threw in a box of "spleen splitters" to spice up the deal ?
Put a old school Hemi in it and then it'll be perfect😂❤ thanks for sharing folks hope you all have a excellent Thursday
Awesome
Dannng
It’s Deertaay!
Even when that film came out over 20 years ago I knew it was a fantasy that a janitor could afford a Daytona.
So glad to see Hoovie presenting this car
We are too! 😎
it didnt even click to me that this was hoovie until i went back and heard him say "hooptie"😂
I remember vaguely, the rear window glass was from a Chevy Vega?
Did she really just say Joe Dirt was one of the greatest movies in cinema history brah? 🤣
Surfer Foot gas pedal is what they were known as
300K dang
This is no Daytona. It's a big old frozen chuck of poopie... lol
It'll buff out ..
David Spade always did have a Mopar I remember in Tommy Boy when he played Richard he had his old GTX car
We sold that car at our 2022 Scottsdale Auction
Does it have a “HEMI” in it ?
You're my sister, you're my sister!
Obsessed fan? See the tattoo
🎉
Don’t try and church it up. Don’t you mean Dirt?
I'm surprised mark worm man didn't buy it.
Was the buyer Richard Rawlings
couldn't have been. not enough rings on the fingers, didn't have the burger king beard, didn't woo, and didn't shout beer assistant.
Had to have a foot pedal imprint installed so I stole this piece 😂
either it was a charger 500 or they did the bodywork just right to get the correct rear window that would have been on a real daytona
69 Charger 500??
Or was the back window fabricated?
I 'd like to know me too !! But i think nobody know.🤔 ??
I wondered that too but they said on the video it was a regular 318 Charger built to replicate the Daytona as close as possible. There is a quick camera pan during the video that shows the back window from the inside very quickly. It almost looked like there was some sort of fabricated insert for the rear window but the shot was so quick you can't get a good look... i seriously doubt it was a Charger 500 if it was someone should be shot.
As stated it was a XP29 charger meaning regular recessed rear window. It was fitted with the rear window plug like a real wing car
300K for a house or a car??
Hmmm 🤔🧐
I'll take the house, Alex
Is that kurt sutter
I can see down your shirt
That's a lot of money for some fake rust 😂
“Greatest movie”😂😂😂
Car sold for more than what joe dirt made to act in the movie 😂😂
Is this where you want to be when Jesus comes back putting little ole David Spade down?
Joe Dirte😂 he deserves it
Does a date with Jaime Pressly come with it ?
😂
Not worth $300,000 That guy is crazy.
Sounds like you need to go have a whaaaburger and some french cries.
@@ryanstocks8972 your butt must hurt
@@witchdoktor69 how come?
Greatest movie in cinema history? Sure it was fun but Greatest, nah fam.
I'd have it totally restored
Shit'll buff out
I had no idea it was in the market. I would have offered $500k.
Rusty sold for what?? Lol Balls to the wall...Yaweh definitely chimed in that one... don't forget to wipe your dirt.......
