    After watching though multiple overly long Mercury X reviews from all the "big names", your video was the one that actually contained the information I was looking for... thank you!! :)

    The placard is in "Holyshitanese" and it says "BRO, YOU GOTZ SKILLZ!" Damn man, that's real nice!

    Man, it's insane. Our wash disc arrived broken as well with it having the grinding noise while spinning then getting stuck. Poorly assembled machine as it seems to be a consistent issue with other owners. Unfortunately for me, the screw is in there, not screwed in enough though, but they damaged the screw head so I can't turn it.

    I should have known you'd already have the Micro Machines sets.
    They look like such fun products. I hope you can find time to present them on your channel.
    Also, (just to provide a bit of feedback), I have been enjoying your 3d printing posts. There are no other videos quite like them anywhere else on UA-cam. Fun and informative. I would be happy to see you do a lot more 3d printing projects. Maybe you could 3d print some extra characters to go into the Micro Machines sets.

    How long do you typically run the wash cycle and the cure cycle

    • @MightyJabbasCollection
      @MightyJabbasCollection  2 роки тому

      Depends on the print to some degree. Maybe 2-3 minutes for wash and cure

      @@MightyJabbasCollection for thicker projects would you wash and cure longer or just cure longer

      Thickness probably wouldn’t affect wash time but maybe cure time. I would wash more if I was doing it on the print platform (since it will have supports attached that will probably have more resin clinging to them) or if it was otherwise a more intricate model with a lot of nooks and crannies.

    Awesome video and very informative!
    Could a person use an IPA alternative in the wash station instead? Looking at maybe picking one of these up, but that much IPA sitting on my bench makes me super nervous

    • @MightyJabbasCollection
      @MightyJabbasCollection  2 роки тому +1

      There are alternatives that people have tried such as Simple Green, or you could also use a water-washable resin. Just be aware that you can’t just toss that waste water down the drain - it needs to be properly disposed of

    Hey Mighty Jabba, do you have any of the 'Micro Machines' Jabba the Hutt related sets? I know there was one of Jabba's Palace with the Sarlaac pit outside and another one of Jabba's head (I think it opens into Mos Eisley Spaceport). There was also one of R2D2 which opens to reveal Jabba's throne room. Anyway, if you have these, may I put in a request for one of your excellent, in-depth reviews of each set?

      I have all of the Jabba-related sets and have been planning to do something about them for a long time. Not sure when it will happen though

    Greetings exalted one! With all the washing alcohol you use in this machine do you find it possible to reuse it after a wash, or does it need to be completely disposed of after a job?

    • @MightyJabbasCollection
      @MightyJabbasCollection  2 роки тому +1

      You can definitely reuse it many times. When you should change it is a bit of a judgment call

    Great Video! But I thought that you should know that when you make your videos available early for patrons, anyone can access them from the playlists you put them in because unlisted videos can still be viewed through playlists

    • @MightyJabbasCollection
      @MightyJabbasCollection  3 роки тому

      Thanks I am aware of that, so I usually don’t add them to playlists until I release them, but I didn’t do that this time. It doesn’t seem like a lot of people view them that way though

    I just got this bundle and I am having the same issue with the wash station. I took it apart to see if I could find any obvious issues, I saw the empty screw hole but was unsure if there was supposed to be something there and did not notice anything loose inside the housing. Now I am wondering if it fell out without me noticing. So no they did not come up with a better shipping solution. I am not pleased, hopefully I can find the screw or maybe have them send me one.

    • @MightyJabbasCollection
      @MightyJabbasCollection  2 роки тому

      It’s a tiny black screw without a head on it so it’s easy to miss. Maybe try looking again, and even shaking it to make sure it didn’t slip in somewhere

    • @BWTodd
      @BWTodd 2 роки тому

      @@MightyJabbasCollection Thank you for the reply. I determined that the screw is still in place, so it was always there. But the issue still remains, it spins a bit and then stops and just makes a bunch of noise, just like in your video. It is like the motor doesn't have the torque to overcome the resistance between the magnets.

      @@MightyJabbasCollection Just a follow up, I spoke to Elegoo support and they were super quick and helpful. They are sending me a new electric motor. It is unfortunate that the motor failed so quickly but they are attempting to resolve the issue as quickly and as easily as possible, and that is about all I can ask of them at this point. Hopefully the new motor lasts.

    Kinda off topic but related to 3d printing, you have printed in rubber like filaments before, if I wanted to make a octopus tentacle and put a bendy wire in it would it hold to the shape of the bendy wire?

    • @MightyJabbasCollection
      @MightyJabbasCollection  3 роки тому

      It’s possible if you use the very rubbery resin, although it might be tricky to get the wire in there. Probably making a mold and pouring silicone would work better if you want to add a wire like that

      On that scale it should be possible. You’d need to model a space inside for the wire
