Eating at Cody's Original Roadhouse at The Villages, Florida | Huge Carrot Cake & Great Burger!

- In today's video, we had a suggestion to eat at Cody's Original Roadhouse located in Lake Sumter Landing at The Villages, Florida. We have been to another Cody's before, but not this one so we decided to stop in. Cody's Original Roadhouse always has great rolls and all-you-can-eat salad. We had a suggestion to try the cheddar bacon burger and it didn't disappoint! It was stinkin' good! We also got their chicken, which was okay, and sweet potato fries which were good. One of the best desserts you can get there is the carrot cake and it is stinkin' good! It was one of the biggest pieces of carrot cake we have ever had. The piece we got was probably the biggest dessert at The Villages, FL! We got stuck in a thunderstorm and there was a ton of lightning and thunder. Overall, Cody's Original Roadhouse at Lake Sumter Landing at the Villages, Florida is a good restaurant to try and if you go, try the burger and carrot cake! They were great!

I liked eating at Cody’s Roadhouse when I lived here in 2011-13 I eat there a lot. They used to encourage you to throw the peanut 🥜 shells on the floor but the fire Department put a stop to that for a possible fire hazard. They used to sale onion strings witch I love, they stop doing it. They were my favorite. I will have to go back now I live here again.

Every meal is @ Cody’s is a winner!! The cheese bacon burger is what Jim gets plus the homemade chips too! I had their ribs, so ever good!! But their carrot cake is most EXCELLENT‼️

Been to Cody's a number of times but were very disappointed last spring. Prime rib & steak were tough and some were sent back.
