But either way if it's still available I'm definitely interested. Also is the 1968 4001 still for sale as well ? My favorite Rick bass I've ever seen on this channel is the custom painted 70s 4001. That bass is absolutely georgous in my opinion and has long been my favorite of all the basses you've played on youtube. I know you love it a ton as well and stated it's not for sale... but If you ever decided to part with it I would ecstatic to purchase it. All the best

I owned an Ibanez just like that in the late 90's. Bought it in Denver, sold it soon after. I wonder if that is that same bass?
did it have the Ibanez pickups or other ones in it?
The PUs looked exactly like those. It also had that cursive writing on the backplate (not sure if that was unique to that bass, though). @@bassjaymi
