I think this one has been a grower because the title You Must Burn sounds like it's going to be a crazy one (think Fight Fire With Fire), but it has a lot more in common with like, say, a mashup of Sad But True, King Nothing, and a bit of Black Sabbath. It really does sound like a tribute to the best of 90s Metallica.
“on second listen i like it a bit more” that’s exactly how the “weaker songs” felt on this album i thought they were weak at first but they’re all great this album is great
I liked this song the first time i heard it. I cant believe anyone hated on it. I honestly think weak people think they look cool if they hate on metallica Probably because metallica are so successful. Its the sad world we live in.
I was meh on a lot of these songs myself when I first heard them but then I played that bridge before the solo and I fell in love immediately also may or may not be trying to learn this solo so wish me luck :))))))))))
I think what I've noticed it that this album is definitely not one you listen to in full because you'll notice the similarities in all the songs easier and you'll get bored. Listening to them separately actually enhances them in my opinion
You popped up while I was in the other room and I thought it was the comedian Brian Posehn hahhaha but still it's cool they have real guitar video games now and that tallica album isn't has bad as the first song that came out then I watched a video showing all the songs they ripped off for the riffs in that album they really just need to stop recording new music at this point
There are some cool riffs in there. Like the first verse riff after TEMPTATION ! . And I feel embarrassed to say this but I love kirks solo on it. It’s just stuck in my head. Musically it may not be the best but it still is stuck in my head.
I feel like each song on this album has some neat stuff going on but on the whole it's barely better than st anger. Its dreadfully boring and if there werent pauses between songs I couldn't tell where one ended or started.
Come hang out with us on the live today if you like metal!

This song is actually pretty sick in my opinion, one of the best on the album
Agree 👍👍 friend
Agreed
I love this one and Inamorata 🤘🏼
This track has grown on me the most….

Agree totally
My favorite song off the album. Groovy, heavy and fun.
Can't disagree
All the songs are great. Some songs just take more than one listen to appreciate them.
True some of these songs grew on me after listening to them again
That's the most normal thing ever.
The way most great albums work
I feel like half of them are great but the other half....they aren't bad but are just so stock
James's voice is pretty good in this album.
That album is much more than I expected, I love it. Metallica delivered heavy fast and greatest riffs and vocals . Lyrics actually make sense.
This song is so good. The chorus is perfect
I know quite a few folks didn’t like this (either at first, or still), but I immediately dug it. It’s “Sabbath But True”
That riff is 🔥
I like the WHOLE ALBUM!!!!!

This album it's a grower for sure, don't underestimate this 😉🤘🤘🤘

Got harvester or sorrow vibes from the riffs in the intro and verses

it does, gives a little bit of individuality to each *song
Very brutal, in true Metallica's signature style. It has a very catchy riff.
Wearing my evil ash shirt today!!! This song is great! A great nod to sabbath and AIC
I knew you liked this song 🤘🤘🤘
Not my favorite, kind of slow, but that riff and solo, mind blowing!!!
The song’s definitely a grower
The whole album grows on you
This is defo the best on the album.
With all this playable versions i feel like people are leaving behind lots of minor 3rd chords (in this case the ones in the chorus)
This one is definitely very fun to play :)

James voice has only gotten better with age, and lars has lost even more hair lmao.
“People are weird” says a weird guy… LOL, don’t get me wrong, I like your videos. Love the entire Album here.
did you practice before playing?
Been listening to them since 1984. I would not put this album in my top 5
Well, when the top 5 is KEA-RTL-MOP-AJFA-TBA, no other album could ever make it to top 5.
@@kaanpullu Death Magnetic is better than both KEA and TBA so that's in my top 5
@@kaanpullu
1. And Justice for Jason
2. The Black Album
3. Master of Puppets
4. Reload
5. Ride the Lightning
@@kiambraleflore7537 no you didn't just put Reload over RTL...
@@kaanpullu AND Kill 'Em All.
Just a plain old good song.
5:38 lol after that ascending, the solo should have stopped, the rest is a filler from Kirk
I agree. its almost skipable song but middle section and ending are really good. Kirk saves the day here fo sho.
It's got a great hook too.
1.
If darkness had a son I will never like. It’s pretty much the only song i skip on the album
Hell of a banger track to skip. That's a testament to the album imo.
There are some cool riffs in there. Like the first verse riff after TEMPTATION ! . And I feel embarrassed to say this but I love kirks solo on it. It’s just stuck in my head. Musically it may not be the best but it still is stuck in my head.
If the song was maybe a tad bit faster I probably would’ve enjoyed it but the song just feels and sounds to me. In My opinion
I necessarily won’t skip it because I enjoy it but it is the weakest song for me on the album and occasionally I’ll skip it.
Although I will admit even though I don’t like the song. Still better than murder one. Kirks solo on that song killed the song for me
the more I hear riffs I like it more but unfortunately all I hear is " drums" on records. blame is on lars. 🤦
I feel like each song on this album has some neat stuff going on but on the whole it's barely better than st anger. Its dreadfully boring and if there werent pauses between songs I couldn't tell where one ended or started.
I’m sorry but your slides are horrible 😂 love your content though!
The song coulda been like 2 minutes shorter imo, or they coulda done something a lot more interesting in the first 4 minutes.
The answer is no. You don't like it now. Sorry. 😂
Your playing that so wrong.
Just playing what's on the screen bud
@@Chainbrain All good mate. Just doesn't sound right. What is that your playing it with? I'm not very computer savy.
