i bought the USA double bury, for platform looks nice doing on ground love to see you do up on sticks. I have been for last week and not easy holding preasure on platform and do all the pass through pull and hook.. oh yeah the shrink wrap fell off after several uses i need to go buy some new shrink wrap because amsteel is fraying alot...
Passing the rope through the schwabish can be tuff. Pro tip... put the rope thru the schwabish before going around the tree. Then you can just grab the rope at the schwabish & take it straight to the versa button. My 1st time out I thought the same as you, that I may need another hand. But, when I took the platform off the tree I didn't pull the rope back thru the schwabish so it's ready to go the next time out.
That USA pro is awesome! I put it on my seeker platform that would never ever bite the tree like it’s supposed to with the cam strap but she’s finally biting strong with the USA pro. Thanks for the video and the amsteel guy for another great product!
When standing directly in front of it it is easy but i put my platform to my left or right try that and pull and loop and hook in a demo in tree . the full bury for platform is very thick and the 2nd swabish folds does not pull like the lite.
I see the pro holds the platform securely. Could the pro be used safely with a lock-on type treestand like the lone wolf custom gear stands as well? Thanks
Nice video. Would you have any concerns with using this with sticks that have a versa button? Looks like this might be the way to go so I can shed some weight on my overall pack.
Is there a difference between this and the Vital Grounds Outdoors PSH? I like the idea of ditching a cam strap… just trying to find the best option. Thanks in advance
Yeah they operate off completely different principles. Both are good options. My experience with a PSH is super limited, but a friend who has both believes the USA Pro gets tighter.
@@SaddleHunter awesome thank you!! Being a larger guy at 5’10” and 255… would you go with the XL? I’m only looking for my predator xl platform not the sticks currently. Weight saving isn’t an issue… I just want the absolute strongest working load I can find
Geez, I literally just bought a USA LITE and haven't even tried out yet and it's replaced. I guess it is possible to just purchase an Amsteel loop and make the second swabish on my exiting LITE, no? any idea on the loop size?
This is just stupid. No offense to you personally but this is complicating something with zero benefit of doing so. Use a truckers hitch and a daisy and be done. You yourself commented on the best attachment video you did that you didn't include the truckers hitch bec you felt like you might as well use a rope mod if your going to do that. Then you promote this.
I’d like to see this being set while one sticking. You don’t have the leverage or the room as if you are standing on the ground. Should still be ok but I’d like to see it
@@corey8134 yeah that’s why I’m just using one on my platform and one on a stick in case it winds up on a lean which is prone to a kick out. Sam plans to lower the price soon.
Yeah no doubt there’s more steps than a daisy chain but it doesn’t take any longer than a truckers hitch or a rope mode to put on and it definitely comes off quicker.
poor tree, i try me best to not run large loads on anything less than 1inch. i definitely get the pitch here but i understand that cambium can be easily damaged. probably caring too much about the trees but ive even switched up some very productive trees cause i can see the years of wear from me using them. probably not really as big of an issue as i think but it should be on your mind if conservation is a goal.
Honestly, this is so over complicated. And the price seems a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I feel like this is just another way to grab money from folks. There are pother companies making amsteel products that make things MORE simple, not more complicated. I'm going to go with them as this just seems like not a whole lot of added value yet the price tag doesn't reflect that.
I have the USA lite XL and it's awesome. I use it on my sticks and platform.
Another great video for saddle hunters. Keep the information coming.
I'm using them on sticks and platform as well. They hold like nothing is else. No sideways slippage when getting down.
I just picked up some USA Pros for my EWO feather sticks, that’s the best stick attachment that I’ve used yet. Really like then.

Just a heads up. Get yourself secure to tree and comfy before you put on the platform. It will go a lot easier. Good luck

Just got these for me and a buddy and this is clutch. Hands down a quick quiet fast system.. 👍🏻👍🏻
Got one for my platform and man.... So much better! Super easy and secure

Yeah it works really well!

Thanks for the tip, these things are GREAT!!
Thanks for the info, great job
I tried these and I just could not get into them Was actually very nervous using them
Awesome idea
I also just bought the USA lite and now I want this instead.
What is the thickness of the Amsteel for the platform? It looks like the 1/8”??
Looks like a very solid option! Thanks for the review! Any chance you’ll be reviewing the venatic saddle?
Possibly. I’m debating spending the money.
Will this work on out out on a limb ridge runner platform? It has two strap down points one on each side. Thank you Greg
Yes
Awesome
Good job
item sold out or not available at that link.
I see the pro holds the platform securely. Could the pro be used safely with a lock-on type treestand like the lone wolf custom gear stands as well? Thanks
Yes
Where to buy? Link doesn't work.
Very nice
I like that a lot
Thanks bud
How hard or easy is it to undo once it's set and some weight had been set on it. (Removal after the hunt)
I don’t find it difficult. A short push to induce slack and you are good to go. The full bury is definitely easier to break than the lite.
@@SaddleHunter thank you for the response.
Wow this looks amazing! I see me switching it up this season. Do you have any discount codes?
Nice video. Would you have any concerns with using this with sticks that have a versa button? Looks like this might be the way to go so I can shed some weight on my overall pack.
The attachment on the predator platform is basically a versa button
Doesn’t matter what it hooks to as long as it’s a spot to hook the hitch

@@bartoljw10 yeah in that case I’d go with the XL.
The hang free system is easier and just as good
What would be the benefit of the full bury version compared to the lite?
The only advantage that I have found in my testing is that the hitches don’t cinch down as hard on the full bury version.

I am pretty sure that Sam sell continuous loops of amsteel. However don’t get discouraged with what you have! The USA Lite is the bombdiggitty!
Yeah just buy a continuous loop from Sam. He can tell you the size you need.
Do you think this will work with the new Pursuit Platforms?
I tried it but there’s no where on the platform to really hook the last hitch to. Now maybe it would if you used an s hook back to the post loop.

The 8’ Lite Pro model is $30
@@SaddleHunter ouch. That adds up quick with multiple sticks.

thats slicker than greased Moose poop
Easy enuff to do standing on the ground , how easy to do suspended are 20 ft ?
The exact same!
Is it the Amsteel Guy or The Real Amsteel Guy
Both. the real amsteel guy is his Etsy name.
Just 2 words for this. Fiddle factor.
