Imran in tests and kapil in ODIs in my opinion.

Imran khan as per stats in Test matches although beefy was better when it comes to perform with both bat & bowl in the same match. Kapil surely best in ODIs among the four

Remember how he routed the mighty West Indies team when they toured NZ in 1980 and 1987. NZ was the team WI could not beat in the former's backyard because of Richard Hadlee

Sir Hadlee a lone Warrior for New Zealand during his career, I personally admired him since early 1980s, followed New Zealand test matches against England in England and against Austrslia in Australia through BBC and ABC from running comentary as we didn't have Telivision network.Iam an admirer of him forever for his performances for New Zealand and for Nottinhamshire in English county matches during his cricket playing career.

When I travelled in India in the early 1980s and people learnt I was kiwi the conversation often turned to whom I thought the better player; Kapil Dev or Richard Hadlee?
My usual reply was, Kapil Who?
