The car doesn't know what battery You have. It only knows the voltage. You can even use 12v DC power supply and everything would look ok unless You try to start the engine.
Is the battery in the trunk the main for engine or axillary? I had my luck jumping my vehicle with battery under the hood. I've let the vehicle sit too long and not need to remove the battery to test and charge (or ultimately replace) but not sure which one to bring in? Thank you
Volvo doors are mechanic( not like Tesla so you won't be trapped if battery dies) so you can open a door without a battery. Do it from the driver's side and crawl back
Very well explained. Thank you
Thank you for watching!
No need to calibrate anything with VIDA?
great vid, as usual! Q: any reason not to put in an H8 rather than H6 for more amps and reserve? (if can fit either)
If the battery is not correct in the vehicle will it cause the battery charge light to stay on and also the light with the triangle and the ! ?

There is no battery under the hood. There is only a positive terminal from the battery in the trunk.
Does this yr xc900 have an auxiliary battery under the hood. I know you can jump start. Battery under there
This one did not!
When i follow the li ks for both H6 and H8 they both says its fits my 2004 Volvo XC90 T6 Sport Utility 2.9L L6 B6294T Automatic how this is possible ?
Same problem my trunk won't open because of dead battery. Can't lift panel to battery door close

I can't access my trunk because the battery died.
You serious lol ? Hop on the rear seat then to the trunk and pull the red lever and push the red button beside it .
