Despite some of the songs listed have been played a lot of times throughout the whole career perspective, please bear in mind that captured performances were taken during the era, when they've been rarely played. For example, 'Pisschrist' was played only several times with Gene Hoglan, so these performances have been included as well to make this live documentary bigger and even more interesting.
There is also a video of 'Controlled Demolition' on youtube that would make into this movie, but the quality is really bad, so I did not include it.

Well played mate! You had to post this right as I was about to go to sleep didn't you! haha. Where did you get all these rare gems? You work with the band?
@@someguy2972 not really. I've been gathering Fear Factory footage for more than 10 years from all the sources possible, retrieving stuff from retired tapers etc. So a lot of dedication and hard work, money, nerves were putting in preserving Fear Factory legacy :)
@@TrulyStucker awesome job once again man. Love all the stuff you're putting up here, especially Worcester 1999!!
@@TrulyStucker Well done. You should post this to Dino's twitter if you've got one.
@@someguy2972 I actually hanged out with them in FF dressing room during Demanufacture tour a few years ago. Dino knows about my channel and even saw a show while I was there hahaha. I was asking whether he was cool with all the shows I'm uploading and SOANM documentary, he said all good, super nice guy!
I'll never understand why Fear Factory wasn't the biggest band in metal.
Their lack of consistency and lack of progression. Post Obsolete was their crossroads, and they blew it by not keeping the line up stable, and trying to go too commercial instead of improving what they started. Bands like Meshuggah (and a lot of European bands) kept pushing onward and not trying to go too mainstream, and are now way bigger and successful than FF. FF peaked 25 years ago. That's why they aren't biggest band in metal. I love them, (is there really a 'them' anymore?) but I'm not delusional about them.
Burton's choirs at festivals did not perform well after obsolete to this day. This group didn't win people over for that. In studio it is something else.
@@miguelmesa8065 not true. Look up some of the songs from archetype live, he crushed it. I’ve also seen him play mechanized songs and do a killer job. He isn’t always good but to say he wasn’t good after Obsolete to this day is just wrong.
@@Salomon_G I agree with what you’re saying, but I’m pretty sure Fear Factory is bigger than Meshuggah. They have more streams on spotify for one. And meshuggah never really had any commercially successful singles. Maybe bleed but they didn’t have a string of hits like linchpin or anything off Obsolete. I could be wrong but they (Meshuggah) seem big to metal fans and no one else. They’re really not that accessible to non-metal fans
@@chasethecolors Fear Factory hasn't been bigger than Meshuggah for 15 years. FF hasn't sustained it's late 90s success which wasn't very big either, and short lived. It ain't about record sales anymore since that doesn't happen. FF are on tour right now, as an opener, in a RV. No techs. You would never see Meshuggah doing that. Meshuggah headline good sized venues and their tours are very successful and expensive to put on. (large crew and expensive light show) Even when FF headlines it's mostly little clubs with an occasional large venue in limited markets. FF are 'has beens.' There is a new kind of metal success that arose with the internet, and it's farther reaching, and more profitable. When the DIgimortal tour ended, FF were broke, and pretty much stayed unsuccessful to this day.
Raymond Herrera is actually a machine gun merged with an organic vessel. A really precise and powerful one.
Archetype was so UNDERRATED!!!
Bite the Hand That Bleeds sounds awesome, one of my favorites FF songs.
спасибо за труд! классная компиляция.
Nice compilation! So sad Burton's no longer part of the band but at least we're getting one last album \m/
I wish he had taken better care of his voice and business affairs. We are very fortunate to have a new album, June 18th cannot come fast enough!!!!!!
Yeah I'll miss Burton on the studio records but his voice deteriorated so bad from about 2012 on that it was getting too hard for him to perform live. My last FF show in 2013 was pretty sad with Burton's voice all destroyed😕
@@riderstorm101 for genexus tour, i believe they made some adaptations with autotune. Archetype from that era sounds pretty great compared to industrialist era performances
Fear Factory lives on. Though Dino wears the crown... The band will never die with the fans. Milo is doing great.
I always dug “Human Shields” and “Bite the Hand that Bleeds”. I remember hearing them when Archetype came out and hoping they’d make a whole album in that direction.
i totally had that feeling to and it seems like they kind of did on transgression with contagion and echo of my scream they were just rushed by the label to get it out i enjoy the album and all but you can tell they didn't spend as much time as they would have liked
As a big gabber fan who’s favourite band is ff I’d have loved to have seen them play t-1000 live.
Oh boy, when i got my first guitar i covered some ACDCand Pantera songs. But when I discovered Fear Factory I entered a completely new chapter in my life musically wise. These guys took it to another level and accompanied me for so long. I played all of their albums again and again till today. What an inspiration! ❤
Thank you for the upload! Brings back many good memories! ✊
Edit: Bite the hand that bleeds is such a great song. I'm really going to miss their way of songwriting.
Nice pfp
Human Shields! Never saw that one live. Burton was so good in 2004! Can't wait for Aggression Continuum!!! 💪
its a spine chilling track and he fucking NAILS it live apparently...
Fear Factory played Descent on NPA live show on French tv in 1998, there is good quality Video on yt. And they were playing Arise Above Opression from debut in 2004 at least a few times. Years ago I had a bootleg from some Festival in 2004 with this song present.
Hi tech hate is so fucking good man.
Also I did not know about the crazy synth/horn sounds in Bite the hand that bleeds.. sounds amazing live never heard that part before!
I havent listened to fear factory since digimortal I think and started listening to them again because I bough tickets to see them. Just heard human shields and fuck this may be my favorite song by them. So simple but so powerful. Truly fucking epic. I hope they play it live and I regret never seeing Burton with them. He is a major part of fear factory.
Chances are 0.00001% they will undust this one, have fun on a new show with a new singer
@@TrulyStucker probably. Why do you think so? I'm kinda out of the loop on what the band's done since I heard them so long ago
@@TrulyStucker nevermind haha I think I got an idea from other posts.
Many thanks dude, really!
Long ago I had a dream that Fear Factory played "Bite The Hand That Bleeds".
Just now I've remembered and decided to check. And freaking hell, they really did!
Ive watched this a few times now, and honestly, its super awesome that you made this video. Im sure it took quite alot of time. And i as a long time, mid 90s, long time, ha ff fan i think we all appreciate it
People like you are hero’s of the internet. It makes me sad knowing this will never happen again.
Thanks a lot! Great compilation. I'd give so much to hear Hi-Tech Hate as well as Freedom or Fire live T_T
Moment of impact is such a killer song that should have been played live on a regular 🤘🏻
I was at the 2009 show in Argentina. It was amazing, Gene was the mvp of the show!!!
Burtons vocals were absolutely on point during the Archetype era. Contrast that with the Moment Of Impact recording where he sounds like he'd rather be anywhere else. What happened in the years between those albums man ...
LOL... his live vocals have been pretty OFF for the better part of the last 20 years.
@@michaelcornell5439 bro, Archetype is from 2004, that _is_ almost 20 years.
@@NeuroCatalyst Indeed. His live vox haven't been great for probably that long at least. Never took care of his voice which is tragic.
I think it was becoming apparent he was over singing heavy vocals by the transgression tour.
The Moment of Impact performance is from their 'Machines at War' tour in late 2006, which I believe was the last tour the COW on guitar lineup of the band ever played, we know of course that Burt pretty much quit the band after the conclusion of touring of Transgression, so I imagine mentally he was pretty much checked out and done during this tour.
Thank you sooo much for this!
Damn Edgecrusher's different version sounded great too.
That's the Burton I remember. Pisschrist sounded amazing.
The Obsolete ones are absolutely perfect.
This video is truly a Gem 💎 thank you for finding these. GREAT QUALITY too
Great deep cuts compilation 👍 I wonder if Freedom or Fire was ever played live?
Gonna ask Dino, he is very active over social media
Got response from Dino. They played this song live.
I saw them play Freedom or Fire at the Obsolete release show at the Whisky in 1998
This is 100% fantastic! Thank you so much for doing the hard work of putting it together for all Fear Factory fanatics.
A great value documentary, thank you very much Stucker!
Burton sounds GREAT during Human Shields! Where did you find that one?
Its actually a circulated show among traders, was easy to find
@@TrulyStucker awesome! Thanks for this upload! 🤘🏻😎🔥
seriously i wanted this at every FF show, he does it so effing well
Awesome finding T-1000, the only remix song I saw them play was Scumgrief (Deep Dub Trauma Mix) in 99'. Comes off well, I was wondering how they'd pull off the remix songs when I got Remanufacture thinking, surely they're not going to just have Raymond play nothing and have a drum machine play. Sounds like it's a combination.
HOLY FUCK HUMAN SHIELDS IS SO GOOD LIVE!!!! That's the only reason I watched this !!!! POWERFUL
Wow, this is awesome! Thanks making this! I didn't know they did T-1000 live, that was really good! Cool to see all of these!
Human Shields! So powerful!
Epic grettings from 🇦🇷🇦🇷
Awesome compilation man, these songs are gems which are rare as hell live.
Hi tech hate, best song of OBSOLET3
47:48 the final release version of "edgecrusher" is so much better than the old one :)
Great Work Buddy :)
It's nice to see something like this appear on YT for the Fans to see - BTW the Milan was great ;)
Have a great day :)
have a good one as well mate, thanks
Fuck Act Of God sounds intense live.
Indeed but what's going on with the bass drum triggers? Sounds kinda weird, like adding a few extra hits on every hit :/
@@fer.barrios Double trigging can happen if the triggers are set on a too sensitive setting, or if the kick drum heads are too loose, so the trigger picks up the vibration as a kick hit. Really annoying!
Herrera doubled the tempo on the bass drum in Act of God? holy fuck
They are the best ever
Heya stuka, just notifying you I finally released the mechanize tour thing after 12,5yeas
awesome! thanks for the heads up
Wow, they played HK- Hunter Killer? This is one of their best songs, it's really a shame they don't play it live. And here, it's not even the real version, but hardcore/gabber version...
Actually they played H-K a lot (not remix version), around 200 times probably.
Check my channel, it has a lot of fear factory videos, including multiple H-K performances or generally search on youtube for it.
Bite the Hand That Bleeds (Granada, Spain, 2005) i was there jajaja
Vaya suerte, porque parece que de Madrid no han vuelto a bajar desde entonces. Temón la verdad
Human shields🤤
More please!!!!!
Moment of impact tho
There is another Human Shields performance that was uploaded days ago, I think its part of a live E.P of a concert in 2004. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/moIKIpvwVTs/v-deo.html. The performance in this video is better, in the ep performance Burton struggles a little bit with the cleans
That version of Edgecrusher sounds like it would've been on Digimortal.
New Breed remix is insane live
How this fvcken band has never played Freedom or Fire is completely beyond me
They did play this song but there is no recording of it unfortunately. I asked Dino, he confirmed they did.
Out of Sights proper name is Resistancia off of demanufacture digipack
read the watermark that went along with video
50:39 Dude nailed it!
Dude holy shit Hi-Tech Hate live??? Act Of God?? Fuuuck, imagine the energy!
Fenomenal parabéns !
Jep! :D Thanks! by Anna,Christine,Tinja&Markku
! Resistencia ! (Live) !!!!!
Honestly Fear Factory Archetype was there last good album. After that they were alright 😢
Dunno how possible to say alright about Mechanize. 100% brutal FF with the best outro song ever, but each to his own
Anyone know who's taking over vocals for Fear Factory? They have a US tour with Static-X and Dope scheduled for next year. Fans suspect the new Static-X vocalist is the guy from Dope. It would be interesting if he performed FF too.
A year ago it was mentioned new guy is a singer from Italy, you can Google it on Reddit. He had many vocal covers on UA-cam and suddenly hid them. Some worker from Roxy club confirmed its Italian. But things are getting delayed and I'm not sure anymore
@@Ryan000ooo I listened to his Dielectric demo and he sounds good.
Messiah was also played a few times
I wonder if they’ve ever done terminate on stage
Фига себе! Я и не знал, что у Edgecrusher была другая версия.
А ведь Self Immolation в ремисковой версии FLA!
You are using footage from my tour videos bro
What?
@@TrulyStucker the footage you are using in London is mine. I took it while I was on the tour
@@bullyinspace oh, ok. Thanks for filiming these shows man. I can put credits on these videos if you give me a name
human shields reminds me how Palestine is suffering right now the attacks from israel
I cant stand watching Burton butcher New Messiah, its not even close to the right notes! Dude has been doing this for 30+ years you would think he wouldnt be tone deaf! Makes me wonder how he pulls it off in the studio! I saw him crying on that tour documentary about how people expect live to be perfect, no man when we pay hard earned money to see you live we expect it to somewhat remotely sound like the song you recorded not sound like a dying animal on the side of the road!
In the studio there are engineers who make him sound great of course..
@@TrulyStucker Theres only so much they can do, cant really fix a lousy vocal performance without auto tune & i dont hear it on most FF albums except Genexus
