No matter how many videos are there about the 2011 Mavs, I will not get tired of watching their story. I am a KD fan and I witness and respected Dirk even more when he schooled that young OKC team in 2011. The 2011 Mavs and the 2004 Pistons will always have a special place in my basketball mind and heart.
If you think dirk nowitzki is a top 15 player all time, you shouldn't have any basketball opinions. As A PF, by far the least deep position in the NBA, you could make the case he's borderline top 5. That places him around the top 25 at best. And then you got active guys like Giannis (who will probably pass him) and AD (who is arguably better when you take into account his defense). Basketball fans like to disrespect Dirk. But you don't have to overcompensate in the other direction.
you made me cry. dirk was my dad and me’s fav player and he passed away that year after a few months after mavs won. in 2009 he said dirk will win a ring before he leaves earth

That legendary run with capping it off with a ring definitely changed Dirk’s career Dirk had a balanced team with Kidd as point that could pass the ball to their weapons or dunk to Chandler down low
I remember when I watched the Dallas Mavericks win their first-ever NBA championship that year. I knew the Mavs were gonna dominate the Finals and win it all. Those guys were 30 years old or older. They won their only NBA title as the oldest team in the league.🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀

Back in the day when there was no Franz and Mo Dirk Nowitzki was the best German NBA player who won 1 championship in Dallas. But as a Magic’s fan I hope Franz can learn from him and Luka without having to miss more 3’s in every single game.
