Thank you for sharing happy to share this journey with You, I have also committed to paying off my mortgage this year - so Grateful that I have NO credit card or Car payments All paid off now focusing on my Mortgage! God is so good God bless you
Love when you break everything down, that’s what helps me. I finally did a real budget this month breaking it all down and realized I’m doing better than I thought. Thank you.
Thank you for discussing the no spend times. Times that you conserve are rarely discussed on budgeting channels. Most people have period where they conserve or don’t spend. I also love the discussion of charity/giving. That’s also something that people don’t discuss enough. I love this❤❤
Great advice. I’ve always been a good budget gal. I know when to stop spending on food. Pay down my 2 cards. Car insurance paid for 6 months on the card. I pay for trips and things on my cards. Both over 10k and i just do that repeatedly always paying on time. Financial freedom is the goal. I just need more passive income.
We have the same plans for no spend for the rest of October. I slightly over indulge in my birthday/debt free celebration and have no regrets. I have sinking funds that I could tap into but I want to make sure I have self control in incident like this.
Saw you on my feed as I arrive home from work this afternoon.Girl, I'm crying for you paying that money but hey we do what we gotta and you had it available which is a wonderful feeling
I've been tracking my spending since April. This was a very low spend month. Currently $599.83 and I'm done for October. Filled up last night and grab the last of the groceries and dog treats. You got this ❤
My goal is just to have a reliable paid for car. Because the tesla is paid off it made more sense to fix it then to get another used car with a car payment (or taking up even more money) especially when a used car could have mechanical issues too. I had a Lexus before this car and liked it.
Good for you that you're satisfied with vacations..u was too impatient.... I felt like vacations were too short - rushed euth no real relaxation.... so I went ALL IN Laser focused on capital accumulation to get to my FI quick as humanly possible ... then just waited for my layoff & and these golden handcuffs....... to call it early retired.... So far I'm loving just chillaxin tiying up loose ends at our house & beach cittage so I can take off to Europe for a few months with a relaxed stay...
Are you referring to my gifts and donations? If so I see what you are saying but I am far from hard times and my thing has always been since I am so blessed I get to be a blessing.
Hi Nicole :-) I've actually talked about this in one of these 4344343 videos - lol. But while it can be one of your largest tax deductions, it does not repay me all that I pay in interest. I pay more in interest than is refunded to me so at the end of the day the best bet is to not pay interest. I've also spoke about when Trump was president, home owners actually lost the ability to deduct all of our taxes and interest paid...there is now a $10K cap. I pay more than $10K a year. I now pay more in taxes. And keeping a bill, limits my freedom. Not worth it.
My mortgage is paid directly from my checking acct due to not being able to pay it with a credit card (there is Bilt but I don't find that card convenient or worth the fee)...utilities are paid with credit cards - I then pay off the credit card balances.
Yes...And they feed us catered lunches several other times during the month but this is the one time that we can go wherever we want, whenever we want and expense it.

So true! It’s great to know where the money is going. You know I love the credit card spending. ❤❤ This is awesome information.

Exactly...and when you know you are doing it by choice...it can actually be a fun little creative challenge
Yes, you have to have a "no spend and I mean that" time. Stay aware and stay strong!🎉❤

Heyyyy! 👋🏾 You got this no spend! 🙌🏾
Heyyyyy!!! Happy Sunday
Great video ❤
Good morning ☀️, thanks for this transparent video? What is your goal with the Tesla? Would you consider getting a more reliable Toyota instead?
My goal is just to have a reliable paid for car. Because the tesla is paid off it made more sense to fix it then to get another used car with a car payment (or taking up even more money) especially when a used car could have mechanical issues too. I had a Lexus before this car and liked it.
I'll never forget how you generously gave to me. Thank you again! ❤ Praying for many blessings your way!

Good for you...that sounds fun. We all have our goals and priorities...mine is to live a vacation lifestyle and I'm not looking to "retire" early.
Organizations don’t help pay the bills or put food on the table because if you fall on hard times will they be there to catch you?
Are you referring to my gifts and donations? If so I see what you are saying but I am far from hard times and my thing has always been since I am so blessed I get to be a blessing.
New Sub🎉
Thank you and welcome :-)

But remember mortgage interest payments in one on your largest tax deductions. You can end up paying more taxes at the end of the year.

@@FunandBudget awesome perspective! I enjoy the conversation . Much love
@@nicolecarlos6894 Its always fun and we realize that our needs and priorities will constantly shift through life and its okay to change it up :-)

So what do you use to pay your mortgage and utilities?
My mortgage is paid directly from my checking acct due to not being able to pay it with a credit card (there is Bilt but I don't find that card convenient or worth the fee)...utilities are paid with credit cards - I then pay off the credit card balances.

Your company offers free food?
Yes...And they feed us catered lunches several other times during the month but this is the one time that we can go wherever we want, whenever we want and expense it.
Got it
😢
I would just stay home and only eat what you have at home
But I don't work from home.
