Congratulations Tinesha on your raise! That is awesome. I wish that I would have asked for a raise back when I felt like I really truly deserved it. Now they don't have me doing all of the extra work that I used to do. Great job!💞
I’m def going to run my fireplace, electric heater and electric blanket😂 Congratulations on the raise! I changed my internet also. I’m excited for what you will teach me this year! Stay safe in snow!
Happy New Year 🎉 Congrats on your raise!!! Cool, can't wait to see how the Crash Pad will go. I agree that you can't find as much stuff, I was looking for a pull out couch and I really could find a wide selection in the stores.
Congrats on your raise! You're definitely goals. Curious to know how you budget with Jay. My husband and I budget for housing spend and anything family wise together. He pays 65% of all bills and I pay 35%. He did move in with me (similar to your situation). Meaning I purchased my home and fully furnished it before he moved in. So we both agreed that was a fair split. We pay for our personal items separately such as phone, insurance, clothes, food that we don't eat together, etc. Just curious to know how you're doing it.
Gm, Tinesha! Happy New Year 🎉! I love your videos. This is the month that I pull the trigger and pay off my home. I would be lying if I didn't admit that I am nervous 😊 I would love to see a mortgage video from you every month
I definitely agree abt furniture as I am now putting a wardrobe together that is a billion pieces!! I just want to buy and have it delivered and not a bunch of money 😆
Does your HOA allow Solar? It may be ideal for lowering your costs. If you can knock off 100 a month from Electricity, that's $1200 for a short weekend trip or just to offset a purchase. You may have a fast break-even number with electric heat and AC.
Solar isn't free - so when I think about the cost of installation and/or leasing...the expense isn't worth it. I think the break even point was about 20 years. I'll just pay my electricity bill.
@@FunandBudgetOh, yeah, that's a horrible break-even number! Mine was 15 years, and I wouldn't do it. Some folks have a 7-year break-even, and to me, that would make sense.
If you have any Amish furniture stores in your area that might be a great place to look for the bunk beds because they tend to be built with wood and very solid material so that may give you a longer life than something built with fake wood. Good luck
Hi Tinesha! Happy New Year. Would you mind giving us an update on your Tesla repair? Did you share feedback with them about the condition of your vehicle after the repair? If so, what was their response?
If Jay is your person. Why aren’t y’all budgeting together? Most couples work together on financial goals. Even if the plan is to be life partners. Happy new year 🎉
Because 1. This is my channel and about me and my financial life 2. I do not desire combining finances 3. Most couples I know do not combine finances...its a choice. Do what you admire and what works for you.
I don't think so...I think its wherever people are willing to drive. I think the further away from the airport...the cheaper the bed and you'd probably have to have a way to provide transportation.
I have two kids and a home and on my tax form I put zero for exemptions bc I I don’t want to pay the irs thousands. Normally I pay $45k in taxes and break even they don’t owe me and I don’t owe them.
Yup...that was the premise I used to start the raise conversation...but what has me excited is a number of things not discussed yet and the raise was significantly more :-)
A big congrats on your raise. You’re killing it as always and making big progress toward your goals!

Hi Tinesha! Happy New Year. Would you mind giving us an update on your Tesla repair? Did you share feedback with them about the condition of your vehicle after the repair? If so, what was their response?
Oh dang I forgot about the Tesla..lol. let me go complain now
First, you look so pretty as always! Happy New Year's to you and Jay and my question is are you and Jay engaged? thank you.
Awww thank you! No we are not engaged...lol. But he's my person so is engagement really necessary
If Jay is your person. Why aren’t y’all budgeting together?

Do you use the il makiage foundation? If so what number? If not, what brand do you use?
No I don't use that...I use Bobbie Brown foundation stick
Is there a max miles away u need 2 b from an airport to do crash pads?

Yup...this will be my 1st time in life doing 0 exemptions
I’m just here with my virtual popcorn 🍿 and I wish you could see the look on my face 😏
Lol
That is insane to me. How we pay so much in taxes and they just be like naw, you owe more.
Chilllllddddd
