My 3 yo Burnham/Beckett went hard lockout March 17th (I was previously auto mechanic before becoming a P.O.) with you by my side (via you tube)we diagnosed and repaired my boiler (cad cell) which led me to watching your beckett series and almost all your vids over the last month..I wanted to thank you. I saw those spring loaded valve things on your other videos and had no idea what they were until this one - fusible link for fire prevention huh... wow neat
We don't use them in Jersey but also most tanks draw from the top, even with pitch you still get sludge clogging the filters

Stumbled onto your vids and been watching a LOT of them. Very interesting to see the difference between heating and a/c out there compared to southern MInnesota. I've seen you work on many oil fired boilers and have a question. Why do you replace so many nozzles? Can't those be cleaned and if not why not?
Yes, you can take them apart and clean them, but they do wear from the oil, like water running over rock in a stream, and that can throw the flame pattern and the GPH off, so since they are so cheap, change them yearly.

Dude, I see with your cleanings that you dont check blower fan, pump coupling, pump pressure, fuel pump strainer, you dont clean and set electrodes....Pretty shitty work...
