- Sorry the video is sideways. When I recorded it I like to use hold the camera sideways and it flipped when I uploaded the video. Eventually I'll figure out a way to rotate the video. Thanks for wathching.

after the wire repairs the truck runs great and everything works now. hope this video helps others
I’ve had 2 months of reduced engine power/stabilitrak problems had it in to two mechanics and about $500 repairs. Was scheduled to take it in for more expensive diagnostics tomorrow. Came across your video and turned out to have the exact same issue. It’ll be a 10 minute fix and $0. Thank you SO much for posting this video! Saved me a lot of stress and money.

I know it's been 2 years since you posted this, but this video really helped me out and saved me a LOT of time tracing wires for the lost 5V reference. This also applies to a 2007 Chevy Suburban
just had my truck go in to limp mode while plowing last night. trouble code said body control module fault. sure am glad i found your video. save me potentially hundreds if not more in useless repairs. this video needs wayyy more publicity.

Fixed, thanks. I bought temperature sensor and thermostat 😢 and the fault was the A/C pressure sensor plug disconnected 😅

When you say you had to rewire some stuff, did you have to actually solder the wires, or were you able to just reconnect them with wire connecters?
It seems these trucks have poor quality wire looms. I have the same truck and all of them are degraded and need to be replaced. Had a p0641 code last year. Took me a week to figure out the wiring had shorted to ground in 2 different places. The same code showed up yesterday and the truck went into limp mode and I suspect it's the wiring again.
My 0641 was the rail pressure sensor on drivers side inside frame on the fuel line coming from the tanks fuel pump . Once i unplugged it . The plug in and sensor was green and corroded . It had lost its 5 volt , and Reference . I cleaned them up really good . Put dielectric grease on it and sealed it . Answer mil light and no more problems . Mine also showed a 5 volt ref incorrect code and a A circuit range performance code . My trucks a new body style 1500 2007 Silverado, 5.3 j serial # engine, Automatic trans , 4x4
