I love the kitchen, dining arrangement 👍👍👍👍 This whole layout it very nice. It's too big for our needs but I can see this being the perfect couple's rig, not just for folks with grandkids but for folks who like to entertain.
LOVE. Dedicated space for counter/coffee time. Eat outside a lot of the time and in front of the TV. LOVE this! This is the first 5th wheel I've seen, that really suits me, realistically. There are large luxury models I will never own, but THIS? THIS fits my personal camping niche' and the price is great!
I would love to see the front windshield be deleted. Looks like the seating in the front living room aren't the fake leather stuff. No window in the entry door is better than one of those all glass doors. Would have liked to see the shower door be a little higher to reduce splash from washing one's head from getting all over the bather room. Nice side night stands for CPAP. Yay on the bedroom TV hookup location. Not mad at road mode.
I LOVE this Front Living room 5th wheel, but, we do need a kitchen table and 4 chairs and a Seat in the Shower. One other thing, instead of those HUGE obnoxious hanging cabinets in the living room, on each side of the big gorgeous window, take those down and put up a light in their places. Thank you Uncle Josh, enjoy your day! 😊👍
Love this separation of the kitchen and living room but would miss the dinette for playing cards and games, eating and hanging out, extra workspace and also desk etc. Always found it a comfy bed also. ✌💜🙂
Get a free standing table, and put it across from one of the sofas, with the stools, or folding camp chairs. Then you can play cards, do a puzzle, or whatever...
Black out screens are a very nice addition for trailers. But, I think it would be more efficient if the outside of the screen was a reflective material, like windshield shades for vehicles. Especially for summer months.
I love the dinette bar format. The ceiling is so tall , I wonder if they could have some higher up linen storage in the bathroom above where the washer and dryer sit in that bedroom area.
I really like this layout and the road mode is great! I agree with you on all your points Josh but then we'd lose that friendlier price point so as you say, I ain't mad at it! 😊
I love the kitchen set up, it definitely has an independent area vibe. I like the space in the living area, but yeah, I think a desk in one of those side outs would be a much better use of space. I get it, uneven floor, but I'm sure there could be a work around with that. It would just need to be attached to the slide itself. Set it so that it's desk height from the floor. I don't know about other people, but I like having a spot to raise my feet and to stretch my legs. That would leave 4 standard seats. Since there is a lot of space in the middle, storage cubes that can be used as seats would be a good option. Thinking about the people that work on the road, work space is a growing need. The manufacturer that makes a solid break into that crowd will be laughing all the way to the bank. But, they need decent desk space. The bedroom is great. Loads of storage, and the bed is not in a slide (my preference). Nice RV.
To me, a big advantage of front living is the residential feeling bedroom and it's nice to see a departure from putting an overhead bunk in this rig. The kitchen is great as well, plenty of prep space with that bar that can be used for eating once all is done. Nice couples rig, I am just not a fan of wicker baskets instead of drawers, when you are actually living in it who wants to see all that exposed.
Love how Alford this is for what it is! Love the colors. Love all of the living space. Love all the windows. Love the no table. Like the kitchen. Love the closet slide in the bedroom. Like the outside storage. For what it is it’s great. Thank you josh!
Very nice but it needs a king bed especially given the size and the fact you have a wardrobe to the side. No dinette no problem, and the price is really good.
Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I love that there is not a dinette in this unit. Most families are watching TV when they eat supper or dinner, so why not give them tv trays? I like the separation that you get between the living room and the kitchen area. They done a outstanding job on this fifth wheel! I do think that the shower door and shower surround should be 6 to 12 taller then what it is so water doesn't get sprayed out or splashes out! I love the master bedroom setup. Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us an giving us all the information on this unit good and bad! Your number one fan and friend Leonard from North Carolina! #NERDHERD!!!!!!!!!
So, we have a '16 eagle front living that's just a little shorter than this. It has the jayco table where the bar is on this one with no slide. I like the bar concept but would move the sink to the back wall, probably getting rid of the 2 headed monster and keeping food prep all in that corner. Also you could then fit 4 at the bar in a pinch. Love the upper deck. the extra 2-3 feet over ours really helps by giving you the theater seats. I would actually prefer the layout in this bedroom over what we have with the bed slide for sure
I went thru some heritage glens lately. They noticed your feedback about armrests in theater seats and have been adopting flip-up arm rests. I know you say it a lot, but sometimes that's the spark that ignites the change!
@@JoshtheRVNerd I fully love the flip up dividers. You can cuddle or hold a drink while munchies attack. Just wish more builders took that tack. Plus you can fit 2 bigs AND a little on those....everybody happy. I go to the local RV dealers. You haveno idea how often I hear, "Can you change out the theater seat?" I'd say about 40% of the people I talk to here in Savannah/Charleston say that.
We camp lot's and a dinnet is really w waste of space for us , we eat all meals at the picnic table. But for some people they would need the table inside
Hi Josh this isn’t bad at all. Just that the power where you plug in power is up too high by the theater seats. Other than that I like it. Thank you Josh fur showing this one
Not a bad layout. Needs a railing for the living room stairs. The 2 dining stools are not fluffy friendly. I don’t like 2 sewerage outlets. For a 40’ foot 5th wheel it seems to missing a lot of external and internal storage. I’m questioning their design efficiency.
Hey Uncle Josh, what other brands offer front living spaces like this one. Normally I don't care much for fifth wheels, but I do really like this one. Thank you for all you do. We purchased our 26 D Bud after watching your video. If we are ever going to upgrade I would consider this style of a fifth wheel.
If you are going to do a budget front living room couples 5th wheel could you ( reduce cost/weight ), remove the camp side slide from the upper deck and extend the awning. You would still have one extra bed for guests and seating for four which seems like plenty. I'd remove the skylight from the shower, no need given the generous height.
I really like the large, double slide, front living concept (and so does my truck dealer). On this one I feel if you're in the kitchen, you're separate from the crowd. I like the doors looking like residential doors. Window in exterior door please. With shade. I do not like the grey pull valve pointing down like that. It's going to get whacked. It's very comfy looking. Soft. With that massive cargo number, maybe the cabinets should go to the ceiling. Or is that too high. Hard to tell.
Camping: when weather permits, eat outside at picnic table. I'm with you Josh, but wish we could all go back to those Norman Rockwell moments. A much kinder, gentler time. Change is inevitable but not always for the best.
My wife and I looked at this in 2022 and left disappointed. We really liked the layout and had high hopes this would be a good camper for us. There was some water intrusion on the front slides (probably from the dealer setting it up), but the necessary wires for the slides were in a way that could easily be grabbed by young ones. We also noticed some poorly installed trim on the kitchen slide, where the seams were gapping and uneven. (this could be because it was an early production model but I was disappointed that QA did not catch it.) The last nail in it for us was the cabinet doors near the kitchen and wardrobe slides collided with the corners of the slide. With the doors having glass panels breakage is a concern. Especially after a couple of adult beverages. The layout and concept are what we are looking for. The price is very friendly to our budget. I could overlook the door placement, and even the water intrusion on the slide. But all of those combined with poor installation of the trim made us walk away. Hopefully Impression has addressed the build quality issues we saw. This unit looked improved. We will still consider Impression, but not without reservations.
I love the kitchen, dining arrangement 👍👍👍👍 This whole layout it very nice. It's too big for our needs but I can see this being the perfect couple's rig, not just for folks with grandkids but for folks who like to entertain.
Glad you like it!
I love the front living rooms! TV trays are still a thing.
A very under-rated thing actually. I mention them to clients here at my home store and they look at me like I'm crazy. But they work
Wow!!!! Fifth Wheels sure have changed!!!! Gorgeous!!!
I just saw the 2025 updates.. it makes these look sad by comparison
This floorplan is absolutely perfect as equipped👍👍👍

I totally get it. I _appreciate_ the fancy big ones.. but I don't need all they offer

@@pattyolson3842 I thought about that before I replied but I think that would be great for the living room but I would still want that dinette area 🙂✌
Fair enough. Thank you for sharing!

That's one of the nice things I've noticed about the euro-style and "Squareflow" style windows on things like heritage glens and brinkley rvs
Great video Josh

Nice!!! I love the dinette delete
Love the road access!
Really like this, but I would have to trade my 2024 3/4 ton in for a 1 ton to pull it. They should replace one of the sofas with a desk.
I think I mentioned in the video why a desk isn't possible there - the slide isn't floor flush. There'd be no space for your legs as it turns out

I saw it listed for $59k in Bath, Pa and $89k in Wisconsin I think? I just googled the year brand make and model and a whole bunch showed up.

Give us 1-2 smaller floating tables from the factory and dining solved.
They're called TV trays and are available cheaper from Amazon than from the factory...😂
Is there a travel trailer with the front living??
There are a few but they’re usually a destination trailer or really odd version of the layout

I'm a fan of front living layouts, however I wish this beast was a wee bit smaller and lighter. Actually, a lot smaller and lighter...
That’s the trick with front living.. hard to make them much shorter without flipping back to a traditional rear living
I like not having the area taken up by a dining room.

Remove one sofa and offer an office area.
If it wasn't a step-up slide blocking leg room that'd be awesome
