I honestly thought that the reason it took so long is because you did the individual circles (which would honestly make someone insane), because I'm currently doing the same, with 1-2 units a day. I didn't think there were so many units. I guess you can kinda cheese it by just skipping right to the last section. But wow, this is literally TORTURE!
Yeah I really don't think it'd be humanly possible to do it every subsection without staying awake for 5-6 days. Which at that point its probably a health concern.
