I would love to see a political/philosophical discussion or debate between Mr. Peterson and Aleksander Dubin on the topics of post modernism, it's effect on geopolitical issues and possible avenues of rapprochement between east and west. If those two could find common ground, the world could find a new direction.

i come from Toronto's elite. JP was a treasure at U of T, a blessing. I regret not getting into his Maps lectures. However, I am disappointed, by my idol refusing to admit that he is of a pastoral nature. Which is not bad. Ut us just obvious, and as a very highly educated mixed U of T alumni, I looked up to and still do, look up to JP. I hope you become intellectually honest and take pride in your openness, idiosyncratic nature and creativity. You have a decades long history of trying to be a preacher, own your cross, embrace what makes you special. God speed
Jordan Peterson is a clinical psychologist/professor who did a thesis on alcoholism, yet wasn't aware of the well known dangers of benzodiazepines...
Jordan Peterson also stated himself that he "adamantly" tried to get a client to take pharmaceuticals. A clinical psychologist who isn't even aware of the well known dangers of benzodiazepines, yet pushes pharmaceuticals onto others, has questionable competency at the very least; can you grasp how dangerous this type of incompetence is within the mental health world?

Just because they’re smart doesn’t make them inhuman. End of the day JP is just some dude from a little West Canadian farm, not some god

From my experience most people have very fluid principles. Subject to their personal whims. Mostly manifesting as ‘Me First’.

The channel "Fall of Civilizations" explores these themes beautifully (how pantheons were merged into one, how gods became minor gods or aspects of Marduk, as the civilization grew), if I recall correctly. That channel is probably the best thing on youtube by the way (no offense, you're second ;)). Irving Finkel is wonderful as well, explaining Cuneiform writing and ancient civilizations. It may be Finkel actually who explains how writings changed, and gods changed and merged into Marduk, because it became too difficult to keep track of all the gods.

@@talmadhoun But the Quran is subordinate to “the book” as the Quran says over and over and over. And the book, being the Bible, claims that God begets, and has three equivalents as one eternal being.
Are you saying “God” is a being that can be known and even interacted with by humans? Doesn’t that make him earthly and not entirely holy? I don’t know. You tell me.

Dr Jordan I believe the Greek mythology gods are the gods talked about in the Bible.. Apollyon appears in the Bible 1 time, and it’s the same name as the Greek mythology one.. even the Bible tells us there are other Gods.. the 1st commandment even does.. thou shall have no other gods before me..

Jordan believes that his principles are guided by a loving god. I disagree.
In January Jordan claimed on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast that being transgender is a result of a “social contagion” and similar to “satanic ritual abuse,” and suggested that acceptance of the trans community is a sign that “civilization’s collapsing.”
Those who are transgender want approval from those such as Jordan, who is very religious, and very judge-mental. Jordan can't give them approval ... because his religious system of belief, that a god created only male and female intervenes.
Religion is NOT good. It never was any good ... and it won't ever be any good ... because those who USE it as battering rams against others they refer to as SINNERS and EVIL ... won't allow religion to be any good.
Jordan refers to those who are transgender as being "satanic," which means that he believes they are actually being led by a devil.
And Jordan hopes to not only keep his followers ... but to gain new ones.
Imagine THAT for being scary CULT behavior.
The True Principles are from God. The rest are the product of our attempts at pretending to be gods -unsuccessfully so-.
Everybody is their own God, people just don't realize they have God inside them so they look for him in other places then themselves.
