I’d love to see you wallpaper an arch that has that rounded bullnose edge. That’s what I have in my home and I’ve been putting off my project until I see a good example being done.
@@spencercolgan I’m doing grasscloth so when I nip those edges to go around the arch it won’t stretch as much as I’d like. But like you said, I just need to find my courage. 😉
Hey spencer I’m a young paperhanger in California and am doing a 5 panel mural with two windows on the wall with bullnose wraps any suggestions on getting the pieces in the window reveal that will be missing?
Murals do not permit covering those areas….you won’t have enough pattern to do it. You could “fake” out those areas with scrap and insert odd pieces and double cut them to make them look like they match.
This is very good demonstration how you wallpaper around a curve/arch. I will try this with my project. Now I have learn to make many slice cuts to the paper so it is easy to fit the paper under the curve. I do not need to apply wallpaper under the curve so that step is not necessary - but I am wondering when I watch the video at 16m 50s and you use the white soft plastic to cut the paper with sharp knife, I cannot understand why you do this? and then you glue the paper. What does this do? And then at the end of the video inside the area you bricks of the wallpaper do not match - you did not show how you paper this and why the match does not look correct. I will cut my paper the same like you do for the arch so thank you for showing how this is done.
Ok back to previous video on the vinyl wallpaper self sticky now you’re saying to put a glue mixture on the wall behind some final sticky but previous video and you never said that so what’s up
This is exactly the content I was searching for!

An excellent job Colgan. Im wondering what is the print pattern of that wallpaper? Where would that be available?

Too much explaining needed. See my latest arch video. A pattern will not match. How could it. You make it look it’s best
Great!
When I cut my painted wallpaper with a blade it just ripps, why !!!!!
It’s cheap.
