I’m #teamblack but Ser Otto is greatly missed. There’s continuity in having his character around. His final scene, so far, with Aegon was one of the best exchanges ever.
True, I love to “hate” him. His character is one of my “favorites” (not as in im team green, but more in a way that I admire the character and what it brings to the story).
He had no rightful claim to the throne because he was never made the rightful heir. The rightful claim belonged to his half sister, Rhaenyra, because she was made heir by her father, King Viserys I. If anything, Aegon should’ve yielded the throne to Rhaenyra since he truly didn’t want it.
Erm well.. aemond would not have been a better choice. While hes studious and lesrn his ancestoral language and the sword, he's rash, cruel and unable to move past childhood traumas do what's best for the realm and not just himself. He has so far killed two family members and attempted to kill his brother whom he calls king. That character type does not make for a good king.
@@TallGrass44probably, in the books he became after basically being in a torturous body due to injuries but in the show they'll probably pull some BS to remove this sympathetic angle.
I know you did not call Helaena delusional when she's the only one who sees the bigger picture and is the only one of the greens who speaks nothing but truths. Leave her name out of your mouth if you can't put respect on it.
Actually folks … I gotta admit that her loyalty to Queen Helaena is both touching and truthful. Helaena was a clairvoyant who deserves far more respect than given. ✨
The biggest issue the greens have that hurts them in this war , they can’t trust anyone on their side. As we all know , Criston Cole can’t be trusted. Aemond , just tried to kill their own leader and the sitting king. Aegon is the usurper, and he has such big problems with his own brother. Alicent spawned off all this evil she calls her sons , and helped place her son in the throne wrongfully. Otto was the head of the monster and the main usurper. These people are a mess , and they can’t trust one another no further than they can spit. Now I didn’t mention Larys. We all know he’s a skinny snake. Now to talk about the Gold Cloaks. They aren’t loyal to Aegon . They remain loyal to Daemon. On top of all of that , the Black Team , has loyalty , and they have way more dragons. The Green Team don’t have any chance to actually win this war as it stands right now. Although , we do have a lot of the show left , and we all know that things can change. So I guess we will see how this all plays out. I only say that because we honestly don’t know what the show will change from the books.
See, making the Greens so divided (because they were united in the books) just makes team Black look worse; like, everything is stacked in the Blacks' favor, and they still can't win? Bad writing.
spoiler alert, it doesnt matter because the war ends in a stailmate anyway. but yeah he lives although he never makes a full recovery. he lures Rhanaera to the throne to have her eaten by sunfyre and then his own people poisoned him later so they all basically died except for Alicent and two targaryen kids that marries each other in the end
Not necessarily. Rhaenyra’s son is the one the throne falls to. So I consider it a win for team black. Only cause it didn’t fall to any heir from team green.
I miss Aegon the Magnanimous
Seriously, I was a huge fan of Aegon the Magnanimous!

I've always hated Otto, but he definitely leveled up in my book after that scene.
I agree.

Aegon is easily, eassssliy the best character of season 2 so far.
I mean the only other way for him to regain his honor is to capture the avatar.
That’s cold man but nice Zuko reference
That's rough, buddy.
May He live long.. Aegon the Burnt Usurper
Aegon the Magnanimous!!!
Aegon the Realms Delight!
I feel so bad for Aegon. He should have been allowed to hand over his claim to the throne to Aemond. He didn’t even want to be king
Don’t worry…you won’t be sad for him
In upcoming seasons. 😢
Aegon got what he deserved. He was not the rightful heir!!!

He’s worried about his brother but he invited his own doom in the door.
I feel bad for Aegon, as awful as he is, but Sunfyre did NOTHING to deserve any of this.

Or what?
😂 wtf

rhaenyra cant keep the iron throne and aegon will feed her to his dragon. king joffrey mentions this in game of thrones
Several differences from the book thus far. And the video didn’t match up with what happened on the show, either
Is it just me, or is the Dragon's eye an Easter egg? It looks insanly like the dagger.
Nah it’s actually the dagger
Well you asked for it, poison
I thought Ser Crispin slit Lord Bbesbury’s throat 🤷🏼♂️

Aegon crown was not silver
I like aegon a lot more than rhaenyra lmao
They all die

So his sister died by his dragon 🐉 so he won at the end of the day 😂hey a win is a win 🏆
Can you really blame Aemond after Aegon humiliated him at the pleasure house? That was brutal.
You don't have siblings, do you?
Umm-NO. It was a drunken rude moment. Burning a brother to a crisp is just psychotic.
Blame Aemond for not asking for a private room
