    I know nothing about life insurance let alone selling it. There’s a job opportunity where people with no experience are being hired. Would the training that’s provided be enough for me to get started or should I not take advantage and learn more about life insurance first

      Well, both. You are paid as a 1099 independent contractor, but in most cases, you are associated with a direct sales organization and have an upline.

      Good question. Leads can be brand new, or years old and reworked. You'll want to ask the company you have in mind for more context.

      99% of people are fine, especially if you're selling seniors. You could opt for telesales or virtual sales if you don't like the idea of in-home visits. Plenty of opportunity there.

    • @TheDIGAgency
      @TheDIGAgency  4 роки тому +34

      Howdy Phil! First, no degree is required. Many top producing insurance producers are "blue collar" types that came from regular jobs and backgrounds. Second, everything in sales is learnable. I am a natural introvert, so much so that I was afraid to order a pizza by phone in my teenage years. Sales is learnable, and all about connecting with your prospect, listening intently to their problems, and showing how your product solves them.
