This is a really cool hotel and the robot choir It's really interesting. The food always looks so good that I get hungry 😂. Thank you for sharing the experience with us
The robot choir was adorable. I noticed the slacker had no light in his eyes. Perhaps his power was cut because he was bad 😢 You are right about the Coke. It's wonderful...and bad for you. A guilty pleasure. Thank you for the entertaining and relaxed video! Until next time!
honestly most of the Japanese rules are just common universal rules about good manners, it's sad that so many adults need reminders on very basic manners (that transcend cultures, like doing a lot of what is seen on the "don't do in Japan" booklet is stuff you would not do in your own country.. being a tourist doesn't give you a right to misbehave).
Everything in Japan is so beautiful and appealing to me, I'm a minimalist and love small living areas and clean places, and I love technology... Just looks so nice, I'm sure my caveman Western ways seem primitive to them if I went there, but I'd try my hardest to give respect and listen carefully to the people there! This country deserves respect.
I love the tourist etiquette guide! If I ever am financially stable enough to travel outside of the US, I would definitely do my research but it would be refreshing to know first hand what that countries etiquette is so I wouldn’t be disrespectful. Those rules I go by here but if there were any new manners I wasn’t aware of. Very nifty! ❤
I’m from the UK and only an hours drive from Manchester. Most football fans are extremely passionate and celebrations usually last all day for normal matches.
an amazing cute little room! It looked so very cozy! I would sure stay there! The front desk seemed a little weird, but neat! Also, you asked what our favorite dish is, mine is Beef Negimaki, Miso soup, and vegetable tempura! I am glad you got to see the sports match, and hope it was fun! I am a 49ers fan (American Football) and I have never gotten to see a match in person and only on TV, so it must been exciting to see a soccer match in person being a fan! I enjoy your videos so much. Showed this to my son, & he is subscribing, too! ❤🎉 And I think the robots are a little bit creepy, but cool as well! The buffet looks yummy! Lovely selection.
I live in the US and I take baths all the time. I make sure to clean off with a quick shower first so that I am not sitting in my own grimy water to bathe.
I think the only etiquette rule I wasn't aware of is the complimentary appetizer at bars & taverns. The rest are things one should do no matter what country they are visiting. A very unusual, but entertaining, hotel. EDIT: There's been a Yoshinoya about a mile from my home for over a decade. They're quite popular here as well.
Technically, it's not 'complimentary' per se - it's a small 'cover' charge that's added to your bill usually, think of it as you pay a small fee to get a seat at the izakaya, but in return, you get a small appetizer for it.
None of the rules explained on the card really caught my attention. I just think it is sad that adults have to be reminded not to do something in areas where it is prohibited, that they have to be punctual, that they shouldn't litter, things like that. That is just part of being a decent person.
I'm from the US, and at least for my family, we don't take baths because the US hotels we've seen aren't nearly as clean as the ones we see in Japan, unfortunately. We are always shocked at how clean the hotels are in your videos!
This is like a restaurant I visited recently in my city in the USA. Everything about it was totally normal except they had robots (basically just a tray holding shelf that rolled itself around) bringing the food from the kitchen to the table. But a human waiter still took the food from the robot and put it on the table, and the robot was not used at all to help clean up the table when we were finished. The restaurant was small too, so the robots weren’t even that necessary. I can’t imagine they are saving the owners any money, and they are hardly making things easier for the staff either.
The one robot that was slacking off knew you were going to be filming and he wanted to be famous so he decided to catch your attention by being the rebel of the group. lol
I can't wait to go to Japan, have always loved and respected their country and culture. I also really love the music, architecture and food haha Can't forget about the beautiful nature and the theme parks, I gotta go fr
13:55. Typically it is seen as more hygienic to shower daily rather than bathe in the West. Showering ensures you are washed more clean. Taking a bath however is seen as more relaxing.

My small American college had a soccer team rather than football. Love it! Am still pen pals with two members of the Cork, Ireland University soccer team! After the game, I crammed 6 players in my car & took them to the bar students from my college preferred (still do!)! Still choose soccer over football UNLESS the New England Patriots are in the Superbowl!
Yoshinoya is very popular in my city too (I live in California). Unfortunately it isn't affordable. People here must think Yoshinoya is luxury food, because here a beef bowl costs more than $9! They don't offer kimchi either- I wish they would.
I was raised to be polite. The one rule that wasn't on the card, was if someone shows you a kindness, always say Thank you. My family stack our plates and set glasses together to help at restaurants. We also strip the beds and place all dirty linens in a spot near the door and gather the trash. I even do that when I've been in the hospital. Kindness is always appreciated.
Wow, that was a really interesting experience) I can say, that this hotel is really not bad, convenient for tourists or just to stay for 2-3 days. I wish I could stay in something like it one day.
