I found out where they were filming the Michael Jackson biopic it was at the movie location close to downtown while I was trying to film. Security blocked me with their umbrellas and told me I cannot film. - Розваги

Use your brain, if leaked footage of the shoot makes it to the Internet before biopic is aired who do you think is getting fired? Don't fault someone for actually doing their job because they want to keep it.
@ES-cl5hi First off, the umbrella men did nothing to block his video. They had the road blocked off far enough away that nobody could see anything. Besides, they were recreating a video that just about everyone on the planet has seen already. We all know what was happening.
@@jimo3393 It's not about what's happening my point is there's a budget allocated to things and you can't just let people wander on to a set were millions of dollars and a lot of logistics worth of planning went in only for footage to be released prematurely. See it from the investor/owners perspective
@ES-cl5hi Yes, they had security that kept people far away from where they were filming. Then the guys with umbrellas came and did actually nothing to block his video. From where the GIV was, you could see nothing . If the umbrella dudes turned around and looked, they would see he could see nothing .
The beginning of this video is very good. That pit bull barking behind fence with dog sign; then the full moon with the clouds; then the moon with the barbed wire fence & you hear dogs or wolf howling the entire time. Good job on this video entry! Perfect intro for the subject matter you are filming.

When Thriller was released in 1983, I was a young man of 28. Having listened to the Jackson 5 as a teenager, I was already familiar with Michael Jackson. Now, as an old man approaching 70, I remember the impact Michael Jackson had on music of the 20th century. Back in the day when Thriller was filmed, there was people standing around in large crowds watching. Now, with this remake from his nephew, not only are the streets blocked and no people are allowed but, guards using umbrellas to block the view from outside of the filming area? I get the security however, why not just put up a tall dark screen from one corner of the street to the other to block the view instead of using umbrellas to try and block the view from anyone filming. So silly. How stupid things have gotten these days. I only wish I had known how great the 80's were when I was living it. Thanks for the video anyway, sir. You gave it your best!
I believe , this is going to be a great biopic to Michael Jackson Legacy . I hope it’s as interesting as The Jacksons: An American Dream ✨✨

@@sophieglatz it's good to keep a secret. here an other known fact about michael jackson is that he loved to go magic shops to buy magic tricks and dvds after the shop closed to the public.
The reason why is because society has crumbled.People do not know how to act decently, anymore like they did back in 1983.

Right around 3:00 makes me think that they’re filming the behind the scenes portion of thriller. Probably the scene where John Landis is sitting next to Michael and he’s talking about how ticklish he is lol

MJ was so big back in the day. I was just a little kid when the Thriller video came out. It was kind of a scary video to little kids. He was so big they sold out the college football stadium here three nights in a row on that tour(the whole weekend). I’m in Knoxville TN home of the Vols so we’re talking one of the biggest college stadiums too. Plus it was one of the first shows with a big laser light show production in it and I remember people making a big deal about that. You couldn’t find a single MJ jacket or glove for sale in the whole town even a week before the shows as every store was sold out of every color and style(all the department stores sold them at the time). My first concert and it was amazing!!!
I totally forgot about everyone buying the Michal jacket and glove set! Kids would wear those to school! It’s all coming back. ….Tom
You have to take in consideration 40 years ago there was no phones with cameras or social media to post vids and pics. So the whole world could not see what was happening that night.. Just local fans..

Great video, Mike! Here in NYC a group of dancers does the THRILLER dance every year in the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade, and being one of them in 2014 was a definite bucket list item for me!! (There are many videos of this on YT.) So I had to smile when you got excited just hearing "that thumping bass"... because I do too! It never gets old. Sending love from NYC 😘

Wow, it actually looks like you were there when they recorded for the first time. Just looking at the lights and people dancing on the same area that everything happened, security in front of it, and also the sound coming from the distance. Feels like we went back to that exactly moment lol

Absolutely wonderful footage! You done an amazing job. You are also a great dude. Thank you so much for your heart felt dedication and your humble personality. In 1992 Me and Michael used to write back and forth to eachother, I still have the things that Michael gave to me. I was able to connect with Michael because I was friends with his clerk at the Madison Palace Hotel in New York. I was told that Michael enjoyed the picture of me dressed in the thriller outfit and he smiled at my picture as he walked down the hallway. I was almost chosen to become one of his background dancers. But he was so busy at the time. I lost contact with Michael in 1995.

Giv ! How cool ... you are showing where the Thriller Video took place! I was a big fan also ..... In 2009 I went to The Bermuda Music Festival to See the show called "Quincy Jones and Friends" .... I saw Quincy Jones conduct the orchestra playing Thriller on Halloween night 2009. There are you tube clips still on you tube. The security people last night were just doing their jobs ..... They want the show to be a secret until its time to show it .... Again, Thanks for showing this!!

Omg, the umbrella posse!! I think they violated the Bane Act - I wonder if they can get fined for that after the fact because you have a right to be there and film on public taxpayer property. Like wth?! It’s a public place. They can’t block you from filming them while making the film. I hope someone sees this and makes sure they never do it again. I know that you’re not trying to get people in trouble, but there are laws and they need to be familiar and follow them. The umbrella posse, lol. 🤣🤣🤣 You’re giving them free advertising for the biopic too. Not a good look for them to break the law and not even be kind to let you hang there to show MJ fans and other people who are curious what’s going on behind the scenes. What are they afraid you’ll show?!

Your Thriller location vid was my first GIV vid I watched and it got me hooked on your channel.
Keep doing you, the company doing this bio pic have no idea what they are missing out on by not letting you film. You got to be one of the biggest MJ fans on youtube and would be great promotion for them.
