I drove a 71 Scout Commanche in High School in 1983-84. It looked identical to this truck. Mine was a v8 with automatic transmission, dule fuel tanks and a factory roll bar inside. It had 8 band leaf springs in the front and back. It was a no rust truck from Nevada but I owned it in Columbus Ohio. I loved that truck and always regrated selling it, but I never had a clue it was a rare truck that one day would be worth more than my 67 Firebird (I still have the Firebird).
