- A video unboxing and showing how to set up the TITAN Sliding Bevel Mitre Saw
If you'd like to see a video of me using the saw or of the hoover I mentioned attached as an extraction let me know.
I purchased this saw from Screwfix in the UK at the time of posting the video the price was £99.99

Excellent video, wouldn’t mind a demo of the machine plus especially how to adjust the angle of the blade if it goes out. Well done.
Dude. This was so useful thanks very very much
Good review mate. Cheers
Perfect review mate, cheers! Especially helped knowing that the locking bolt is stiff, had me head scratching for a while!!
Don't worry I was there for a while (Off camera) 😅
Brilliant little vid!! Just what I needed!!
Hope it helped 👍🏻
Perfect review cheers mate 👍🏻
Hope it was helpful
I just bought one of these on Thursday and the stand. As a DIYer it's brilliant for making quick and accurate cuts. I checked the angles before cutting anything and it was already spot on out the box. Had the stand built and the saw mounted within 15 minutes. I was a bit dubious before buying but I needn't have worried. If you're thinking about buying one you won't be disappointed
Totally agree. Out the box mine was also spot on. I've still not opened my stand but you make it sound like it will be quick and easy 👍🏻
@@thedoitalldad the stand is really easy. Just bolt on a few plastic headed knobs and the slides. Trickiest part was adding the nuts and bolts to the support bars on the saw base. Fiddly more than tricky but easy enough
Agree with the fiddly bit. I bought a Von Hausen stand from Amazon as Screwfix had run out of their own. It was only a couple of quid more and worth every penny.
@pamhill8710 sounds good. There's probably easier and better solutions to the fiddly nuts and bolts arrangement on the cheaper stands but tbh, you only need to do it once so not really an issue
I would like to see a blade change please 😮
What is the longest that it can cut?
The little black piece of metal protruding out under the handle on the motor body, how do you release that mine won’t budge. Think it stops the blade spinning because if you press the trigger no blade spin but plenty of smoke from the motor
Great review mate, i think i'll buy one of these, can you tell me the thickness of the blade? Also, i've never used one of these before and was wondering if there is a way you can make a partial cut, like say you have a piece of wood that is 3cm thick, only make a 1cm deep cut into the wood?
Thanks!
Whats the longest length of cut this saw can make?
How do you get the clamp to work? As I tighten it on the piece I’am cutting, the black steel rod just slides up out of hole it’s sat in?
It's kind of a compression fit. Make sure the black rod is fully inserted into the hole and use the yellow lock screw onto the piece of wood to apply pressure to the wood. It lifts slightly before sideways pressure pushes the knurled bit of the black rod into the side of the hole to make it clamp
Is the dust bag any use and if not any ideas re solution .????
It seems to work pretty well but fills up very quickly! You can attach a hoover
I've just bought this and it doesn't cut straight. It's rubbish. It's set at 0 degrees and from the front to the back of the piece of 1x2 wood I used for a first cut its pissed as shit. Fresh out the box. I should have gone for the old faithul.....DeWalt
I've had no issues with mine, but I do think it's one of those brands where you can be unlucky and get a bit of a rubbish one. If I had the money I'd always go with a well known brand like DeWalt
@@thedoitalldadI did have the money for a DeWalt. I was in Screwfix pacing up and down debating whether I should go cheap or go for a brand I've used for 15 years.
Ah well, lesson learned.
Good video btw.
Bruh Even with the more expensive one like metabo and many others you have to adjust it first before use by loosing the screws and set the angle, then start using it.
Look even on some YT tutorials.
