- In a particularly bad week for Kari Lake, the Arizona Republican candidate for senate was forced to flip-flop on her support for a Civil War-era abortion ban and then accidentally proposed an idea for cutting taxes on families that Republicans have already blocked. Alex Wagner reports.

I love that the man whose life will never be at risk due to a pregnancy is there whining about the law being a ‘miracle’. I will always say this: if men could get pregnant, the legality of abortion wouldn’t even be a question.
Why are women so insistent on keeping baby murder legal? You can postulare all you want about supposed sexism, but if you think this is a gendered issue then you are saying that women have a vested interest to murder their child.

I bet the voters of Arizona are quietly thanking the fact that Kari Lake lost to Kathy Hobbs in the governor's race in 2022. Hobbs said that she was an opportunist and this is what's in full display, and the way she posted her message with that change in position with regards to abortion only showed to everyone in Arizona that her heart was never in it, I'm sure this also disappointed her hardcore anti-Abortion base. She was only in it to win, and when the sign of the times are moving towards support for Abortion rights well, there she goes following. . . She was never an advocate against abortion even, she never cared about it, Now we all know, Think of all women that silently suffered as she was in that forefront of that intimidation campaign against abortion in Arizona, people should know that her heart was never in it.

Isn't banning abortion and saving babies the same thing? What about saving the lives of women experiencing ectopic or otherwise failing pregnancies that are threatening their lives and can't possibly bring a baby to term? The medical treatment they need is--guess what--an abortion. Not because it's an "unwanted pregnancy." But because they want to live long enough to try to become pregnant again. How is that so complicated to understand?

I wanted, needed, to finish my education, not immediately life threatening... But quality of life would have been dramatically lowered for myself and the child I choose to abort. Instead, I subconsciously picked up step kids as soon as I graduated... And intentionally was a great mom just like I naturally would have been if running and finances were right. 🧡

Abortion is about equality for everyone. A woman should not be forced to risk her life and health by putting her body through a pregnancy for the same reason a man should not be forced to donate an organ or marrow or even a tiny bit of blood to save a dying child.

How is that equal?
