I happened upon one of these. I actually bought it for the hardshell case. I'm always in need of good cases. I own 80's Charvel's and Jackson's, a couple of USA fender Strats and so on. I really had no plans on keeping it until I played it for a while. Turns out I Loved it! I paid $100 for it in a real nice hard case. I just kind of fell into the deal and have been quite happy about it ever since. The guitar is one of the pure black ones with the ivory crazy stripes all over it and it's in really nice condition. Thanks for the informative video!

I've been trying to find one of these lil things for years now, Kamen has had my heart for decades since the first one I owned was stolen

It was worth looking all those years to get it. Surprised that it went up in value that much considering when it was made

Found one of these locally that needs some TLC and pickups rewired. same color and all. They want $200, is that a fair price?

@robertrogers3211 I'd buy it for nostalgic reasons, but it's really up to you. If you restore it there's people that would definitely buy it for $500. Try offering $150. I'd be looking at everything like fret ware, rust, missing part etc. Let me know if you get it!

@@chromaticmusicwill do gladly! Are those bodies plywood/laminate like a lot of people say or are they any sort of normal tone wood? I think I will offer $150 and see if they take it

@@chromaticmusicpicked it up for $150. Back electronics cavity cover and spring cover are both missing, I’ll have to source those or at least make them to fit. Body and neck are in good shape so I can work with it all a believe. Excited to start on it as a project! Also your video was really informative, thank you

@robertrogers3211 that's great man, congrats of the find! I've made a few covers and they a fairly easy to do with a few things. You can get the plastic on Amazon. You'll need also a jewelry saw with a plastic blade and some tracing paper. You pretty much trace the hole with the paper including the screw holes, transfer it to the plastic and cut around it. If you have a dremel with a grinding wheel you can smooth off the edges and drill the screw holes. There's a few videos on UA-cam as well. I'll also post a link to my restore videos to help with the other stuff. Love to see it when it's done
