This one character, is the sole reason why I started collecting Figma. Not that the line is bad, but I never really got into Figma until this guy came out. If you're a Doom fan, grab this one! Not many options out there, and this one is by far the best of them all!!
I’ve been collecting Sh figure arts Dragon ball and I love doom eternal and I’m still debating about getting this figure… but the Mcfarlane is good for it’s price but limited limited articulation and oh my goodness. I can’t decide.

A 20$ McFarlane versus a 130$ figma. Hmmm I’d say the McFarlane is ten times more bang for your buck. Maybe if the figma one was like 40-50. What it should be. Then I wouldn’t be complaining
I'm so glad I pre-ordered mine. He scales so well with other 1/12 figures like the DMC boys on my demon slayer display. Great poses and photography as always! You may have even convinced me to get a 1000toys Master Chief because of how well it scales with the Slayer. Hopefully the line adds in the Arbiter one day (and especially Vergil). I should also add that black panel wash does absolute wonders for this figure. I applied some on the arm joints and it really helped them blend in with the rest of the arms.

I've gotten out of figmas and revoltechs. I used to be big on articulated figures but I get so tired of how every damn figure they make, once I pose a figure a few times, doesn't matter how gentle I am with them, the joints get loose af over time, especially wrist joints. IMO they really should make the ball socket joints tighter and also make the pegs on wrist and arm joints thicker or meatier or whatever. For what they cost, the details in their figures justify their cost, but the quality of their sturdiness does not.
You can get way more waist articulation by popping off the front of the belt. I thought they removed the feature but the front of the belt is just pegged in tight so be careful when pulling it out.
Not even interested in the games, purely bought this because it's one of the coolest Space Marine designs out there. It's a gorgeous toy, easily worth the price; would be awesome to see a Warhammer 40k Space Marine from these guys.

Drill a small hole in each of the broken ends, slotted a tiny piece of wire in each end, and glued it in place. The wire makes is much sturdier than just glueing two flat price of plastic.
Haha I thought the title was referring to Victor Vonn DOOM. . I have played the game DOOM a total of maybe 45min. I worked for A.O.L. and someone snuck it into our system. They never found the employee that did it but they got rid of it pretty quickly.
I received my order, it's weird, but this figure somehow looks soulful. But it has ugly joints, especially when compared with 1000Toys Chief. Good base for customization anyway
Articulation is cool but the sculpts is missing massive chunks and looks very disproportionate for eg his lats are completely missing and the arms look really weird but they absolutely did a great job with accessories
Do you have any links or tips on how that works? I am kind of disappointed by his joints, and have a bunch of Mafex figures, so if there's a way to improve Doomslayer hear, I would love to know.
I canceled mine once I seen the joints.. otherwise solid looking piece that I was looking forward too for months and months but just not my thing Ultimately
Same here. If it had dropped sooner I would have it in my Pile of Loot right now, but its still showing as preorder which gave me time to build up buyers remorse. I really wanted the BFG and the chainsaw, but ultimately couldn't justify the $120 purchase based on my want of those two accessories alone. So I guess I'm just gonna stick with McFarlane and his lack of accessories and articulation, lol. Regardless, at least he gave us doom fans something to work with. I'm not much of a Figma guy anyway.
So buy It overseas like I did. Depending on where u buy it you could get it for 85$-100$ including shipping. Mine was 85$ out the door shipped to my house in 4 days. Always search overseas. You’d be anazed
How can you tell a figma doomslayer is authentic??? Ive been seeing wild price variations on ebay with some as cheap as $35 new, and some going to $90 and I cant really tell which one might be a fake vs the real figma... Price alone wont settle it because a fake could be going for $90 as well....
I admit to being a bit disappointed in this figure. Almost perfect in every aspect... until you get to the shoulders. Those tiny joints and the floppy armor just killed my enthusiasm and I've had him sitting in his box trying to make up my mind on it for about a week now.
Chief is 7’2”. He’s 6’10” without his armor. So he’s not scaled accurately (i dont really mind tho, he’s still taller than doomuy which is good enough for me)
This was my first figma. And my last. Straight garbage. Kept the weapons and sold this piece of junk. I can’t believe the figure they put out versus the prototype.
The tiny little hands, the elbows, upper shoulders and arms are horrendous. The legs were extremely loose. This is what started me collecting when this was announced. Not to mention it was a half of a year late. For what. I literally hate figma. And McFarlane did it way better. Idc if it is a brick.

Honestly, this is a better figure than the McFarlane Doomguy figure.
Not exactly a high bar tbh. Most of their stuff cannot articulate worth a damn.
