In the case of GL1000 it is nor necessary to remove the intake boots, just rotate them, you neither need to remove the vaccum covers, but it is easier to remover the carbs if you remove the small vaccumm valve. just some tips from my experience, thanks for sharing this video
I did try with the vacuum covers on but it was just too tight for comfort. Rotating the right side intake boots may have worked but removing them just made it easier. Excellent video. I need to replace the fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb assembly. It looks like the same hose you left connected. Is it possible to remove that hose without removing the carbs?
