Weber Vs Napoleon (Gas models) - • Weber Spirit II VS Nap...
Today we are reviewing Charcoal Kettle Grills! this is so exciting. Today we will have a Napoleon vs Weber showdown! Which one would you choose?
Napoleon has recently gotten into kettle grills. Both of their models are pretty solid and have a few key traits that sets them apart from Weber. First off, we noticed this immediately, The Napoleon stands taller. This is very beneficial and just a bit more easier to use. Also, in the Pro version of the Napoleon you get a big ol' cast iron cooking grate. That is so awesome to have in a charcoal grill! The Napoleon Kettle series is no joke!!
We all know Weber. Weber is solid. They have been making barbecues for so long and that really says something. Both of these units are amazing and honestly iconic in the grill industry. The OG is as simple as it comes. you can make magic on this grill with just the basics! Overall, the Master Touch is a huge upgrade. The cooking grates that come with the Master Touch really allow you to price up your grill game!
Both of the Manufactures are amazing and have been around a long time! All of these grills are amazing and it really comes down to preference. We hope this video helped understand the difference between the models! As always, thanks for watching. Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe!

Can you tell me if the Napoleon fixed the issue with the pointed sheet metal screws? I would like to have a charcoal grill and it is a toss up due to the heavy duty grates Napoleon offers but it is hard to pass up the ash clean out on the Weber. Thanks for the vidoes.

There is NOTHING janky about the original weber kettle grill - it is by far the best value to be had in grills- you can cook anything on it, sit it out in your back yard and cook on it for 20 years. Nothing poor or unreliable about it - its probably the most reliable grill ever made- the exact opossite of "janky"

@@sbrunner69 I’ve got one sitting in my backyard that I’ve owned for 15 years- no signs that it’s not gonna last another 15 years. You can Google it and see people on the internet that have weber kettles from the 50s and 60s - they are extremely well built, and for the price? I doubt you could buy a more well made grill at 3 times the price.

In my area the Napoleon is actually cheaper than the Weber.
The Weber tri-leg set-up is easier to move around to me, especially on uneven ground.
The ash bucket is a nice feature but you're not cooking inside and the ash is good for the garden 😅
For a review I would have like to seem them being actually used rather than comparing spec. sheets. How do they perform?
Difference in how quickly they heat up and hold temperature?

For those on a budget, I found Napoleon's 18" grill to be the best option for about the same price as Weber's. Not a fan of Weber's open-air ash catcher, and the Napoleon has a built-in lid thermometer. Unfortunately, the Napoleon doesn't have an agitator, and especially disappointing is neither of them have anything to hang grilling utensils on. Also disappointing is that no changes/improvements have been made to either grill in the last several years.

Thank you for the feedback. I've been trying to decide between the Weber 18" and Napoleon 18". Both are pretty much the same price where I live. The Weber comes with a 5 year warranty I believe and the Napoleon comes with a 10 year warranty. In the store, the Weber looked a little more sturdier but the Napoleon has a few more features. Do you have any feedback on that Napoleon 18"? Thank You.

@@joeraptor1 The Napoleon 18" is the only kettle grill I have any experience with, but I'm fairly happy with it after 3 summers. I do wish I'd bit the bullet and spent more money on a larger grill, even when cooking for 2. I'm rusty on how Napoleon compares to Weber with the larger grills, but I have no concerns about the quality/sturdiness of Napoleon's options.

Looking at reviews ofWeber kettle grills on Amazon, the common theme seems to be poor fitting covers and some shoddy workmanship on the air vents. If you want to smoke then you need a tight fitting cover to get accurate temp control. Overall I agree the Napoleon pro is the best of the bunch. From what I can discern their quality control is better. Dollar for Dollar the Napoleon is better. Over the years Weber has relied too much on their rep instead of better quality. Just my opinion. I used to be a Weber fan from twenty years ago, but no longer.
