Lapped AI challenging me into braking zones after "letting me past" on the straight has to be one of the more frustrating things. Another one is that the AI always max out on fuel. So they will start the race with like 7-8 laps of excess fuel meaning that they are actual turtles during the first phase of the race (not the inital start tho) and then they are legitimate rockets during the last few laps. Ai also likes to fight you when you are on a hotlap and they are on a out/inlap.

the best thing about the veteran bar is, it has absolutely no effect^^. i have it frequently happen to me that the points in the rivaleries are swapped. so e.g. you beat your teammate but you get the points he would get and vice versa
About the rookie to veteran to be honest you are really good at this game you even are signed for an esports team but yeah for the average guy it takes about like 2 or maybe 3 seasons so you kinda have a point
Game has a lot of annoying bugs, many not covered here. For instance, if you want to penalize a backmarker, just race behind him at some distance, but inside the "approaching backmarkers" sign. They will get penalties added to their times for not letting you pass. But they CANNOT FORCE you to pass them. :)

What about nonsence questions from media. For example: you haven't touched a wall in a single session and then Claire asks : "You brushed a wall few times, were you strugling for grip?" and 'm like WHAAAAAAAAT.
I quit playing most the way through the first season because its the same as all the other codies games. I have a love hate with them, and this one is no exception. It does some things great, but overall it doesn't put you in F1 in a realistic enough way to make it feel genuine. There's just too many little things that it does goofy or wrong and it takes me out of the experience.

Mostly agree with what you said, but it wasn't verstappens fault in china and your starts are just rubbish :D I don't know if you're using assists, but your throttle distribution should be around 30-40% before releasing the clutch, about 60-70% after releasing the clutch, (then shift to second gear) 80-90% in second gear and then either floor it in second or shift to third first and then floor it.(Of course this only applies to dry starts without traction control)
I'm quicker in the wet compared to the AI in the dry. I race considerably better in my first season with McLaren at 107 difficulty if it is raining. However, I destroy the tyres while doing so. I always get top 10 in the rain. While in dry conditions, I manage about 11th or 12th.
