I bought one of those Paas egg dye kits, opened it, and there were no dye tablets in it. I knew you can use food coloring dye, glad I found your video. You saved Easter!
We have a holiday called Novruz in Azerbaijan. We also dye eggs. It is ,in fact today and it was my first time doing it. My Mom.just told to dye eggs and Thank God this videos was here😍♥️
Good morning, I just found out that there are substitutes for when you don't have eggs. I have looked and cannot find any chart. Please, can you direct me where to find 5his chart? Thank you.
Do you think this will work to dye my dogs tail? I normally just use food coloring but I want it to last longer then one wash. I will update with results
Was so glad you demonstrated natural food dye but you only showed the resulting egg colors for a split second! We wanted to see the resulting colors for longer than that! 😕
I was wondering what the vinegar was for. Here's the answer from chatgpt: In the process of dyeing red eggs, vinegar is used to help the dye adhere better to the eggshells. Here's how it works: 1. Acidity and Dye Binding: Eggshells are primarily made of calcium carbonate, which is slightly porous. Vinegar, being acidic, reacts with the calcium carbonate, creating a surface that binds more effectively with the dye molecules. This results in a brighter and more even color. 2. Enhancing Dye Solubility: Many food dyes are more soluble in acidic environments, so adding vinegar to the dye solution improves the dye's intensity and saturation. 3. Preventing Uneven Coloring: The vinegar ensures that the dye penetrates evenly, reducing streaks or blotchy coloring on the eggshells. If you skip the vinegar, the eggs may not take on the dye as vibrantly, and the color could appear faint or uneven. For optimal results, follow the recommended proportions of dye, water, and vinegar in the instructions provided.
Out family tradition (were not the only ones) after dying the eggs is to ROLL I am down a hill till they break apart. The Rolling is to symbolize the Christ’s tomb door opening I am back because of him all of us will be resurrected one day too
At 3:43 you will see that the natural coloured eggs are NOT Red and NOT orange. It does not make not ant sense. But she smiles and happy for the video.
I didn't show results? I'm not sure the right way to show results but I showed all of the eggs and I'm not sure how else you'd personally prefer I show them.
@@TubaAmiri You get great result from onion peels, red beets, and tumeric. Nothing else from the veggie section worked for me well. And you see the result very short at the end. The eggs on the right, a very light shade as you can see.

What's the temperature of these waters?
Hot water
Great
Can we use these way of the natural colors for eggs without shell? To make the deviled eggs?
Thank you for not showing the boiling eggs part. I just needed ratios. Looks like a good channel.😊💜💙💚💛🧡❤
Wow this works thanks!
Thank you
Did you peel the hard boiled eggs or keep them in their shell?
You keep the in their shell to dye them. The shells are what you are dyeing. You remove the shells to eat the eggs.
@@Thestayathomechef Thank you
You saved my kids Easter i couldn't find dye kits anywhere!
Nice 👌
Please tell if it's apple cider vinegar or alcohol veniger
apple cider vinegar is what we use
Perfect
Are they boiled beforehand.?
Yes
Does the water for the eggs have to be boiling
This is awesome, thanks! :-)
You are welcome!
Did you peel of the shell or not .
Saly :-)
The shell of the egg? I did when we ate them.
the name of this channel is so appropriate for quarantine
Are the dyes darker eggs than the all natural vegetables?
The all natural vary in color and intensity.
The boiled eggs are used warm or at room temperature?
When you make boiled eggs you should immediately plunge them into an ice bath so hard boiled eggs should be cold.

Does it affect its taste?
Can we use food colouring gel the same way?
did you end up trying?
Nice info, but you should have showed the results of each way so we could see the different intensity
kid: mom, lets buy food colorings for easter egg
mom: use vegetables
Should the water be hot, cold or room temperature for dying with food color?
It should be hot water then let it cool if kids are doing it.

I'm using this to recognize my hard boiled eggs from my raw ones. Plus you don't need a holiday for beauty or fun.
