Thank you so much! I finally understand how to do Entrelac and it’s because of your excellent directions!
Thank you for this video it helped me understand what to do.
That's so great to know- thanks so much for your kind comment ❤️🥰
Thank you very much. Entrelac has been on my to do list for ages. I've knitted a similar 'add on' pattern before, but this tutorial is so good and really understandable. I'm going for it this time...thanks for the pattern which I may turn into a scarf using your 'sample' video. Nicely done!
Hi Susan! Wow Louise is so good at entrelac, it was fantastic to learn how to do it with her. It's one of those techniques that is on so many lists!!! We'd love to hear how you got on - please do let us know if you have a minute! Love, Merion xx
Oh thank you! I have struggled with the pattern for the Woven woven cushion but watching you has made it all make sense. I had to stop and start a few times but think I have got it now. :-)
Hi Valerie - we think entrelac is one of those things that just takes a while to get right! Thank goodness we have Louise to show us! Thank you for letting us know - happy knitting! Love Merion and the LoveCrafts team xx

Thanks Andrea, that's great to hear 😄
Hey everyone! Who's going to give this technique a go?? Aaand what will you be making??
LoveCrafts I hav been following this tutorial before I give the cushion a go :) it has been really helpful so far but am struggling on my second row of rectangles. Never mind, I am sure I will figure it out haha!! Wish me luck!

Would it be possible to give a printed version of this sample. It is very good. However I keep trying to stop the video and can’t pick up at the correct place
Well it is fiddly and I got to the bit where you said just do another left leaning square and thought help! I need it shown throughout. Am now about to attempt from where you left off before the last base triangles. Some written instructions to go with the video would help as jumping backwards and forwards through a video is a bit tricky.
Thanks for letting us know Anne - are you following the pattern for this particular cushion? This is it - it may help to have these written instructions to follow. www.lovecrafts.com/en-gb/p/woven-wonder-cushion-in-paintbox-yarns-baby-dk-downloadable-pdf kindest wishes, Merion and the LoveCrafts team x
Can you do entrelac with 2 colours and 4 needles without having to keep turning with 2 needles
Hi guys I love entrelac knitting. And you are very good. I started doing this and was just doing a narrow throw which is now 4 feet long and 18 inches wide but now I want to make it wider any ideas about how I can do this??
Hi Susan! I had a chat with Louise, and she thinks the only way you can do it is to make strips and sew them together sideways because you can't really pick up the entrelac stitches and add triangles. Either that, or you can pick up stitches and add borders with different stitches? Let us know how it goes! Kindest, Merion x
LoveCrafts thanks so much. I thought this might be the only way . I not the best at sewing together but will try. Thanks again.
Hiya from Barry South Wales...I.ve got the hang of this stitch now but how would be best too make it “flatter” ...thanks 🐠❤️🐠
Hey Giraffey,
That sounds great- yay! As Entrelac is a textured technique it will be quite tricky to get it completely flat. You could however block it once finished, which will stretch it out a bit :)
I hope this helps a little.
If you need any more information or help, do let us know!
Happy making,
Merion x
Thanks..up to row 6 now and it seems too be relaxing lol 🐠🏴🐠
@@giraffeyjackie Oh that sounds wonderful! Enjoy the rest of your knit and let us know, if you ever need any more help.
Happy making!

OMG, I'll try... But I'm still a beginner. :P I'll like to knit a scarf... Or mittens...
That's super exciting! It is always great to challenge yourself and if you should ever get stuck, we are always here to help as well- Enjoy and happy making! Merion x
I can't seem to be able to download the free pattern. Will I need to buy something for it to be free?
