They're also the only loser of the war to gain territory.

Nice tip for this path, if you go Grand Battleplan, and get Theatre Training. All generals you get from unifying the Balkans have a 50% chance of getting Brilliant/ Inflexible Strategist. And yes, they can stack if the leader already has one of them.

Also works with other similar paths where you get a heap of officers from other nations, like Fascist Finland when they annex the Nordics and Estonia.

10:20 if you rush down there as fast as possible and use all of the decisions on cooldown i find it is possible to consistantly get them all in your faction.
this is my favorite path in the game. incredibly strong and you get to feel like the good guy freeing people from fascism and the soviets

I recently finished my Bulgaria achievements. Once you figure out how to play them they are very strong. Only problem I had was spending several years after WW2 building up to taking Turkey since Britain was being a stick in the mud.

I tried the monarchist path with the Netherlands the same way you did expect the space marines. It's 1 September 1941: France still lives, Germany lost 3 mil (I alone 1 mil) and Italy 1 million. 😂

Democratic/Communist Bulgaria (and just Bulgaria in general) is by FAR my favorite focus tree in all of hoi4. It's so well designed and has such a nice amount of 35-day focuses. Not to mention the industry branch being unique and dynamic! Additionally, its faction management (compared to the Greek & Turkish Factions from the DLC) is function and intuitive, making a fun little minigame while you play Pre-War.

Hey Florius, do you have a specific combat width for your space marines because I really want to try them?
there are many good option for space Mariens. what I like to do is one or two Medium self Propel Atillery instead of AA. Little bit more expansive but has a nice flavor to it and very good soft artack. If the speed stat is high enouth you can use them to also build some decent 30w "tanks" divisions. In thermes of combatewith use standart infantry and just add the tank and maybe remove on Infrantry. so that you end up with 18 or 21/22 or 30
I did nothing Special here and just added an AA tank to a 7/2
