Is the Peace Corps Packing List Helpful?

Just got accepted to Peace Corps? Just got sent your packing list and wondering how accurate and helpful it actually is? In this video I revisit the packing list I was sent during pre-departure and talk about whether or not I ended up needing it for service.
Remember that each volunteer has their own unique needs and that no perfect packing list truly exists. I was a female volunteer in my early twenties serving in a hot country- what you need for your service may be quite different. My hope, however, is that it will still be helpful to hear an RPCV analyze their own packing list in hind sight.
