I use the same marking procedure that you used in this video and I like it. The one thing I notice you did was "mask" the area. Do you always mask all of your engraving? I REALLY like the way your cutting board came out. I have the 40 and 10 watt but not 20 watt. Does the 20 work better? It didn't look like you used the xTool recommended settings for engraving, did you? Do you mind me asking what settings you used? Your finished board is awesome. By the way, I'm glad I found your channel, I enjoy your videos. Thanks. Donna
@@AngieHolden Thanks! I appreciate your reply AND the link to Cori's video. That was very helpful. I'm LOVING this S1 laser 🙂 my "second" craft room is getting very crowded too with tools but not as many as you have. 😊 Your xTool screen printing video was very helpful when I did 6 shirts for our daughter-in-law to give for Christmas presents.

I did show the settings on the screen. Cori did a video with the 40W with settings: ua-cam.com/video/PQCrukKrM70/v-deo.html

Why did you mask the board
It just makes clean up a bit easier with less charring on the surface. I was making it quick for myself.
