Or more sonic and the fallen star and sonic classic hero’s would be good if you do classic hero change the mode to chaotic and be sonic tails and knuckles
The way I see it, with level builders for games, there are two main philosophies for building levels: traditional levels meant to feel like they belong in the world of the game, and non-traditional levels meant to do unique challenges and/or trolls. I personally prefer traditional-style levels, and it seems you do, too. Your level gets a thumbs up from me. :-)

This game isn’t the only impressive Roblox game I’ve seen. There’s also one that has similar mechanics to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator. However, it takes place inside a submarine.

I've always wondered how Sonic levels are made. I know that's not how it really works but I think it's close
I think branching multiple paths is the way to go. But I have a lot to learn :D Harder to make a good Sonic level than Mario I think.
I mean it's basically right. Levels are made in chunks that get placed to ease up on storage usage in the genesis, and then they add objects later. So it's basically 100% accurate. The exception is mania, because theres no chunks, but yea.

That was actually pretty good for a sonic level :D
Id focus more on keeping a theme for the badniks as well, that way it keeps future levels feeling new and fresh, rather than just a hodgepodge of stuff.
Checkpoints also always feel very separated regardless of what route youre taking, so youll almost never be able to run through a checkpoint, deviate from the route and immediately find another.
I think thats the only real criticisms that i have for the stage. Theres a lot of care and detail thats put into it and because of it, it *almost* has that sonic vibe going. Theres a few smol bits that dont feel good, like the spot that looks like youve almost broken the game, but other than that, it was a very well designed level :D

Just a mention to anyone who's wondering if this game is good, imo very highly yes. The level creation is seriously amazing and the characters you can play as add alot of variety, you get to play the levels of whoever you're in a lobby as well and some of the levels can rarely be gems to play.

For a Roblox game it is a masterpiece
Small tips in creating:
You can delete objects with right click, and also copy chunks.
*You can only view levels of people in the server!*
There are several object types when you click a object, you can get a 6 ring object without spamming a bunch of it!
You can tint a level with the backgrounds menu, character, entities, level, bg, etc.
There are SO many, and I mean SO many settings to make your level unique, and several soon being made. (The game is gonna have a "Next Level" Toggle soon!
Do you know how to change the transistion the background like in the space escape level?

What boggles my mind is that this is made completely in Roblox! I never thought I would see btg play Roblox, but I’m glad out of all the games it was this one. Great video Darby!
Aw yeah, this game is SO good!
It also brings back memories of its old 2017 release before it became a Simulator. That weird 'phase 2' of U.N. Owen was Her was in one of the Blue Sphere stages.

I really like it! It flows well, loops are there, it has many routs, and it looks fun! But there are some things that you could work on. Like naming. or the background
but other than that its really good! I like playing with water in my levels alot. Play more of this!

Yeah... BTG time = best time ever. Sonic love. What a neat game. I love these kind of games where you can imagine and create your own ideas. The fun and challenges you can set yourself and others is endless. That's why I love Mario Maker, so much talent in making those levels could make a new game. It's a Roblox thing.
I really want Darby to play my levels, but you can only play other levels made by people who are playing on the server. Maybe he could live stream himself playing levels that other people have made so people can join the server whilst the stream is happening so Darby can play levels that people suggested.

There's also another stand alone Sonic level maker called "Sonic Studio" still in development, the dev name is "LapperDev". He had demo vids about his project but he took them down for unknown reason

I love this game! I have made alot of levels, I hope they update this game so I can make levels like Palmtree Panic or Stardust Speedway.

@@BlueTelevisionGames You can't search for user generated levels, and the levels are dependent on if the person is in the server or not. This can be interpreted from the games' private servers, as when you're the only one in the server only your levels show up to play. So only people who are in your server are able to play your levels

I love how Green Hill Night feels almost cavernous near the end. It gives the level personality!

I've been playing this game since late January of 2022 and have made so many levels! It is so fun to put custom soundtracks and names that would sound like real sonic level names! I also love getting compliments from people on how good my levels can be!

I am amazed that you played this, I play it a lot. This game is really fun, I even remade a 1-1 from SMB 1. We can't really play your level unless you are online btw. Best part about the game, No OmoChao. OmoChao says "maybe they will add me in an update!!!" DANG IT OMOCHAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

@@brighthades5968 easy, floating boxes = monitors + pipes = idk just a sublevel, is easy to remade it with some editing
@@brighthades5968 I used ring monitor as cion box, shields as power-ups, the one pipe you can go down is a hole, blocks as just breakable nothing blocks, invincibility monitor as star, moto bugs as Goombas, and Crabmeat as that one Koopa.

metal sonic abilities:double jump( press space 2x)
super sonic:invinciblity and lose no rings(nothing)
shadow:boost(activate:b)
sonic (cd):superpeelout (activate: up arrow + b)(if b doesnt work try x y or any)

Edit: the reason why green Hill didn't have music is because of the Roblox audio update and it got removed.

This is awesome! (The Video and the level) I don't know why the Music in Green Hill Act 1 is non existent but In V9 it was still there.
Fun Fact: You can Fight Eggman / Robotnik in Green Hill Act 3 and in Test_3.

if you wonder why the music on green hill doesn’t start, it’s because of a update on roblox that only allows audios that are 6 seconds long, however you can make your game have music longer then 6 seconds by uploading them and then adding them the creator either forgot to add green hill or just it didn’t work

(read the replys! they are notes!)ironically was playing this a few minutes ago. pretty fun. if you use a roblox private server(usually paid, but in this game its free) you can do something like the viewer smm2 levels except people go into the server and play. you close it, reset the link every so often to allow new players in. there are also some pretty cool creators!

the no music is because roblox privated every audio, and there were no green hill music, and the dev decided to take a break.
i think gasbag created the level, so they could use debug mode.
