I’m rewatching this, and the level of detail is insane! The fact that when they are transported outside of Oil Ocean zone they are in a desert, like how it foreshadows that OO Zone is just a stones throw away from Mirage Saloon Zone (Also nod to deleted zones), Brilliant!❤ I love watching these
If you look closely, you can see that the great Egg Robo was missing an eye lense, before sonic even attacked it. This is a great attention to detail, showing that the robot was unfinished, and that's why it appears on scaffolding, instead of being inside the death egg itself
I love how even though Sonic Origins just did something like this with the awesome Tyson Hesse cutscenes, this still gets REALLY close to the quality of that, yet this also has just a bit more emotion and heart to it that, while amazing and awesome and very professional, the Sonic Origins cutscenes just don't have. These exude way more of a fan-made charm and highlights WHY people love Sonic, that in a way, make these actually both compete with and compliment the Sonic Origins scenes.
Watching all three Sonic stories at once really shows your progression with animation. Sonic 1 was rather still, Sonic 2 was a step in the right direction, but by Sonic 3 & Knuckles, the characters really came alive! In fact, I think some of what you showed might have served as inspiration for a few of the animated cutscenes in Sonic Origins.
This entire animation movie brings nostalgia to all the Sonic fans who have played the first 3 Sonic games! Thank you so much for making this phenomenal animation, Pedro! This animation design looks incredibly amazing and it's worth watching! Happy 31st Anniversary to Sonic the Hedgehog!
The way you portray the story of the first 3 Sonic games is astonishing. If the Sonic games had cutscenes (aside from the Zone transitions in Sonic 3) I imagine they would look something like how you showed them. I'm in awe with how you did Sonic 3/And Knuckles. Especially how you incorporated several of the multiplayer stages in the most sensible of places, and the integration of certain pieces of Knuckles' portion of the story both during and after the events of the Sonic/Tails story. Well. Done. Good. Sir!
I honestly teared up alil bit watching this this trilogy was so fun it brought back childhood memories and nostalgia well done and I loved the sonic heroes references that was added
I love the idea of Super forms working like super Saiyan, and the emotion behind it... We've all been starved of depth in sonic for a good few years, and this animation redeams sonic a WHOLE lot.
This is going to be a good hour half watch, almost like a movie, probably should’ve thrown Sonic CD in between 1 & 2 tho since we now know where it stands in the timeline lol

Ok this is amazing, it was so faithful and attention to detail oriented. And making simple platform levels into something entertaining. What I really enjoyed was how Knuckles and Tails got to use the emeralds, and not just Sonic.

So many lil canon clips from the actual game series, connected dots out the wazoo, an all-around unforgettable trip to NOSTALGIA CITY! My intro to Mobius was Sonic 2 on the Genesis back in 1992. Bein my favorite color, with the awesome soundtrack, the Blue Blue INSTANTLY became my favorite cartoon character and REMAINS so to this day! From the bottom of my heart, thank you. This was a real treat to watch. Please make more.

People shouldn't hold so much onto 'the day Sonic was born', because he was born way before that and the release date of the first game has been a point of discussion as well.
Said this before and ill say it again, im glad knux and sonic stories take place at the same time. I always thought knuckles was fighting egg robo cause robotnik was busy fighting sonic. Then you have flying battery getting destroyed twice in the real game. Also the Mecha sonic robot at the time was my head canon on why knux thought sonic was a baddie

Something I love about the hyper sonic, knuckles, and tails fight is how he referenced sonic heroes at the start but when eggman is fighting them, he uses attacks from the sonic 1 bosses vs sonic, attacks from the sonic 2 bosses vs tails, and attacks from the sonic 3&k bosses vs knuckles, and then the islands they are from being shown for each character at the end when they power up. I love it good job Pedro!

I love how the last Super Emerald minigame is the hardest one. We all left that one for the end, lol.

People shouldn't hold so much onto 'the day Sonic was born', because he was born way before that and the release date of the first game has been a point of discussion as well.

Said this before and ill say it again, im glad knux and sonic stories take place at the same time.
I always thought knuckles was fighting egg robo cause robotnik was busy fighting sonic.
Then you have flying battery getting destroyed twice in the real game.
Also the Mecha sonic robot at the time was my head canon on why knux thought sonic was a baddie

The ultimate Sonic animation.
Something I love about the hyper sonic, knuckles, and tails fight is how he referenced sonic heroes at the start but when eggman is fighting them, he uses attacks from the sonic 1 bosses vs sonic, attacks from the sonic 2 bosses vs tails, and attacks from the sonic 3&k bosses vs knuckles, and then the islands they are from being shown for each character at the end when they power up. I love it good job Pedro!
