Kristen reacts to The Avengers, the 2012 superhero team-up epic based on the Marvel Comics series. When Earth is faced with an alien invasion led by the mischievous Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston (Loki, Thor: Ragnarok, Kong: Skull Island) Nick Fury, played by Samuel L Jackson (The Marvels, The Hateful Eight, Pulp Fiction) assembles Earth's mightiest heroes to stop him, but getting the strongest, the bravest, and the most volatile to work together might prove too much for this unlikely but ultimately fated band of characters.

Whenever I’m having a bad day, Ima just rewatch Kristen dying during Loki getting humbled by the Hulk over and over, and it’ll bring me back to life.
Does she pay attention??? To think Captain America thought Fury was "the help" is one of the most painful moments I've ever seen in a reaction.

I loved this movie when it first came out. I saw it 4 times in a month. There truly was nothing like it at the time.

Loki and Tom Hiddleston who portrays him are fine as fuck. Like Tom is FINE and just a beautiful human, and then Loki is also like the most iconic, most beloved and well written villain of the MCU
About that Captain America having serious 'daddy vibes' thing; it's so genius how they started him out, standing up to the bully in the movie theater, trying over and over to enter war, and the saying 'I don't wanna kill anyone, I just hate bullies'. The guy had all the goods to being a great leader -- one who leads by example, but he just never had the muscle to back it up. Now he can stand up to any bully and do it the right way.

If you're wondering how Thor was able to travel to earth without the bifrost the all father Odin or Heimdall sent him here using dark magic. Now if you didn't use the tesseract to go back to Asgard it would have been a one-way trip. If Loki didn't surrender he could have beat Captain America and Iron Man. Loki seen weak compared Thor and he is physically nowhere near Thor's strength. Now of course if you mean power-wise Loki is equal to Thor strength if not stronger due to all of his individual powers.
Spoiler alert: If you like the Agent Phil Coulson character there are a few Marvel one shots short films that featuring him. Then there's the agents of shield TV series which you may enjoy that dive deep into agent coulson's character.
LOL, I've seen probably a hundred reactions to this movie over the years, and I've never seen anyone laugh so hard when Hulk gave Loki the what for, it was infectious and you made me laugh more than I normally would have.
The scene with the captain American giving nick fury the money was the bet from earlier. I doubt anything would surprise me 10 bucks says you’re wrong.

Countless audiences had the same reaction when Hulk wrecked Loki. Uproarious laughter at seeing shit-talker Loki getting so thoroughly humbled. I think I saw the movie in theaters three times and it slayed each time.
Absolute best reaction to the Hulk versus Loki 'puny god' beat down that I've seen! Don't worry that you didn't know the villain shown in the credit scene. He was an Easter Egg for comic nerds like me, because we all recognized him immediately.
This movie is the perfect team-up film. I wish I could go back to Summer 2012 and experience this in theaters again for the first time.

You were right to laugh as hard and long as you did. When HULK ragdolled Loki and called him Puny, it was among the funniest movie moments in recent memory. And of course it was preceded by THE MOST BADASS movie moment of all time - Cap suggests to Banner it might be a good time to get angry, so he donned his green suit and showed the aliens how painful it can be to take a punch.
*Hopefully Banner won't be charged with a crime after stealing the motorcycle.

Y'all really edited out some of the best scenes. What happened to Thor's intro, man? Thor's fight with Cap and Tony? Thor's chat with Loki? Nat fetching Bruce for Fury? Nat totally punking Loki and getting the answers she needed? Seriously so many times I was totally lost like the editing made the scenes jump in a way that feels super disjointed. Damn, man. I was so excited for this one too.
Also love Nat's "Thank you, for your co-operation" scene and Fury's "guess he never did get you to sign these".
It's gotta be hard to make the edits to avoid copywrite strikes.
@@barkingmonkee True, I know copyright laws effect the editing, there was just so much missing, so many full scenes gone, that it's a little disappointing. But THAT RAGDOLL SCENE was hilarious, she was DYING, it was great.

I think you're wrong about Loki being underrated... People still continue to love him to this day, to the point where I don't think that's even possible.

I really enjoyed your reaction. The Avengers is a 10 of 10 movie: Perfect director, perfect cast, perfect cgi, perfect story! I read Avenger comics from the very beginning and had to wait decades to watch this masterpiece in theater :) A childhood's dream came true!

Back in the day the whole theater was crying with laughter when the Hulk/Loki scene happened. It was glorious!
"Puny god..." you could watch the Hulk slam Loki around 1,000 times and it would still be just as funny as the 1st time seeing it! you wouldn't believe how many takes it took for Tom Hiddleston to get that whimper just right.
This is still my favorite MCU movie. Don't get me wrong, there are other great ones (you'll see) but this one was so great at setting the tone, being the first ensemble and just grabbing you right from the opening scene and keeping you glued the whole time. That first shot that pans around the six of them is still one of the most perfect moments in the MCU.
Funniest moment in the whole first Avengers movie is Loki getting ragdolled by Hulk. Bottom line, non-negotiable. Even if I'm having a bad day, that moment never fails to make me laugh.
Side note: Does anyone else think Kristen could *EASILY* pull off an amazing cosplay of MCU Maria Hill?
Okay first off this was one of the few marvel movies I had high expectations for and two me and my mom almost died laughing when Loki got tossed around like a ragdoll by the Hulk including the part where Hulk hit Thor a little payback from the hit by Thor's hammer. But definitely one of the best ones in the infinity lineup. Awesome reaction Kristen I enjoyed every bit of it
Agent phil coulson didn't die there, shield took him to a facility where they revived phil and in future he becomes director of the shield. There's a whole television series named Agents of shield by Marvel just for reference.
You might want to react to Agents of Shield. It started off as a canon spin-off of Avengers, then the TV and movie studios split and was less canon and more just kept referencing the movies and what went on in them in parallel/easter eggs, though it is a good idea to find the watch order, as it's still relevant that you have to watch a few movies, then a season of the show, then the next few movies, then the next series, etc...
Rarely, the odd cameo from a movie character will appear on the show, which is what makes it semi-canon. Though there is one reeeeeallllly big linking factor to the MCU and the show.
