Thank you for teaching me step by step to make my first graduation lei for my son, turned out great! A little complicated at the beginning like u said but once u get going it wasn’t so bad. I used 7/8 ribbons and it looked great and much fuller. Only thing I need help on is showing me how to attach the bow etc. thanks!

Im seeing you are using tape to hold the fold in place, do you have any suggestions for alternatives to hold the folds?

Can you make it with wider ribbon
Yes, we can, and it will be as beautiful.
Just by using 3 rolls, 1 of each color, can I make an entire lei?
Ideally you bought 4 rolls; 2 white, 1 green, 1 red. But usually one roll is 10 yards, right? However, typically, one roll contains 10 yards, correct? So, for the white ribbon, you'll need to cut it into 2 pieces, resulting in 5 yards each. This should be sufficient, though your lei may end up slightly shorter than desired, but that should be ok. I hope this helps.

How long is the ribbon lei with the 6yds of ribbon?
For 6 yards, we can make 40"-42" lei. It's just the right size for a lei. The graduation lei is right size when it's hanging just by the person's belly button, not lower than his/her belly button 😉.

If you use only two colors, how should I do? I use navy and yellow. Navy, navy, yellow and yellow?
If you want navy in the middle, put the navy in the white position. And yellow in green and red position. I hope this helps.
