Hey friends! Here are a few rules corrections! At mark 15:23 - Skills are gained when checking out a book not returning a book! Returning a book just allows you to have more space to check out a book in the future. At mark 24:55 - Players may only move their jar tokens if they select the specific rest action that allows them to do so.
Yes, I'm curious about this game! Its definitely my theme, though not that of my husband I think. Too cutesy. But he will still want to play with me. Especially if it has enough interesting strategic choices. And otherwise I can play it with my kids ☺️. My eldest is 12 and my second is 6 and he recently traded his two young kids games for cottage garden, which was leaving our collection for having so much. But now its still in our home ☺️. So hopefully enough persons to play with! I will check some more reviews, but it sparks my interest!
I like this format, although I do enjoy the camerawork on the b-roll you show, when you show it. Yours is one of the best produced board game channels there is. I love the care you put into it.
So beautiful 😍 Love to hear that there is strategy need and not just a simple, good looking game. This format is really nice. Maybe add a bit more B-roll.
This game is beautiful! Definitely seems like a game Hannah and I would enjoy playing together! 🥰 Also definitely looks like a game that was made just for you! 💐 Great video, Jenna! Really enjoyed that intro!
It's gorgeous! 🥰 It is a great medium weight game that I think would be great for many board game skill levels! So relaxing and cozy. Thank you so much for watching and commenting Dave! Appreciate it! 😊
The art of this game looks amazing! Will definitely check it out. I so enjoy your videos, the overview of the components are mouthwatering! And you really makes everything feel so cosy and relaxing.
The game is gorgeous. It's pretty much why I backed >.> but it sounds pretty calming too... so a good cup of tea and some pleasant ambient music would pair so well with this.
I absolutely adore this game! It encourages players to forage for cruelty-free ingredients provided by mother nature, read books to gain knowledge, and follow recipes to create and serve healthy delicious meals in order to build strong relationships with others. This game is sure to provide a truly heartwarming and meaningful gaming experience, and it is a must-have for me!
Game looks breathtaking! Hey Jenna, huge fan of the channel and you have influenced me into creating my own boardgaming channel. I would love to connect and hear pointers about starting a channel. Keep up the great work! Maybe we could even collaborate in the future.
Beautiful illustrations and components! I especially love the cards with food (but it's making me hungry...). Either format works well, but like others said, the b-roll is super detailed which I appreciate and I always love the thematic music you choose. I actually have Keystone North America also by Rose Gauntlet on my table right now. Have you tried? It's especially good solo.
The Board Game Garden reviewing the Wild Garden board game? Sus! 😂 And of course the silularities with the name of Rose, is double Sus. 😂😂 Just joke. It really is a beautiful game. also torn between which presentation you should use. I do like you're voice over presentation, but this presentation does just as well and it seems more relaxing. So, I'd just mix up the presentation between videos. They are both good.
HAHAHA! It really is the perfect fit for the channel. Crazy how it ended up that way. 😂💕 And yeah I do like both presentation styles! I think it will just depend on the game and what style I think is better for showcasing a specific game.
Your B-roll was very good. So nice I thought to myself, "That's really nice B-roll," and had to restrain myself from making a 'We got that B-Roll!!" joke in the comments. But then you asked about it! So I wound up doing it anyway. ANYway, I am not one of those people who thinks B-roll is _necessary_ for a board game channel. It's nice to be able to see the game, but I usually care more about the creator. I would say that if it's a sustainable amount of effort to make B-roll, fine. If it's too much, that's okay too. I would rather have static shots of you presenting to camera than you get burnt out and not be in my feed anymore.

@@TheBoardGameGarden It looks fantastic-I'll definitely have to check it out some more! ☺ Always appreciate your relaxing and cozy content, Jenna!
Thank you for this video - I saw advertisements for this game, but didn't decide to back it until after watching this.
this game looks so PRETTY!!!! Talk about a cozy game!!!
The opening music is lovely

I just pre-ordered everything that has to do with this game solely based on your presentation

Would love to see a solo playthrough!
I'll be doing a solo playthrough over on Twitch on April 16th! 😊
yes yes me too a solo :)
This game look beautiful and I was really hoping to pick it up as it’s definitely a game I’d enjoy but $50 minimum 😢 don’t think I can justify that
I prefer this type of preview. It feels like you're talking to us -- friendlier, ya know?
I agree! 😊
Both presentation styles are good! Would give a slight nod to the voiceover style.
I do like both of them as well. Maybe I will just do one or the other depending on my mood and what I think is best for the game itself. 😊👍🏻
@@TheBoardGameGarden good call! I think for chill games that are component light, a conversation style video would be good.
