If you check the SDS on each spray via Fox's website, 1.4 has trichloroethylene, 5.3 squared has DB or diethylene glycol monobutyl ether as the solvent. All are oil based, you're not setting peoples faces on fires like in the 90's with tasers anymore, that was older alcohol based formulas, think 90% isopropyl alcohol. Solvent is designed to cleanse the contact area of all oils, opening pores of the body to recieve the OC faster. Big difference based on tester experience (570 experience channel) is how easy it is to decon after. 5.3 sq is easier to clean off, 1.4 is more difficult, probably due to older more proven solvent design. Lastly, 3-4 oz weight is difference is due to different propellent. 1.4 has nitrogen, 5.3 is CO2.
Fox has the above in 2 sprays, cone and stream. Check Fox Labs YT channel for spray pattern performance. Size should be obvious, 2oz for everyday, 4oz for glove box, 16oz pistol can for home defense. Cone for EDC since most uses will be close up for defense and it'll get in the respiratory system. Stream is a good all around, for indoors, or spraying through car windows in the event of say road rage, or if you live somewhere super windy. I learned almost nothing from this video. 5 minutes of nothing. How about spray pattern, best uses, etc...?????
Fox has the above in 2 sprays, cone and stream. Check Fox Labs YT channel for spray pattern performance. Size should be obvious, 2oz for everyday, 4oz for glove box, 16oz pistol can for home defense. Cone for EDC since most uses will be close up for defense and it'll get in the respiratory system. Stream is a good all around, for indoors, or spraying through car windows in the event of say road rage, or if you live somewhere super windy. Just get 1.4, most capacity, hottest available, 2oz cone, 4oz stream.
are those cans 4oz??
