Nice overview of the different dispersal spray patterns, Josh! You forgot to mention Pepper Gel, which the SABRE Crossfire also comes in. More of a narrow pattern than Stream, but less cross-contamination (no fumes). Gotta hit those eyes for the greatest effect. I personally recommend the fogger pattern to our customers, for a number of reasons: 1) Can hit multiple targets 2) Can create a "barrier" that criminals have to walk through, making it great for home defense 3) Atomizes the fastest, allowing it to work quicker than other spray patterns; only needs to be breathed in, so no need to be accurate like with a Stream or Gel The greatest drawback of course is cross-contamination, so the fog is bad for enclosed spaces and areas with a lot of wind (always use proper positioning in an altercation and make sure to spray downwind!). Great video by the way

Nice video, I carry a fox 5.3squared mk9 fog unit. It's lighter with the same amount of OC as most units of the same size, but seems to come out very watery
This is great information. Fogger might be a terrible idea for vehicle defense. Just imagine trying to spray that across a vehicle and through a partially open window with plans to immediately drive away. That plan could go bad real quick for the defender
Heatwave is good but pricey. The police magnum pepper spray is very affordable and Ive tested it. It's also brutal for like half the cost. I tend to think stream is great bc if you are close they inhale it like a fogger spray and it's great for distance also. Win/win
