On the previous songs I've heard Allison sing, her voice has struck me as one of those Concours D'Elegance kind of Sunday driving classic automobiles. It's extraordinary and beautiful but it's handled with extreme care. On this, it was so great to hear her rev the engine out and take the corners a little harder! Solid song.
I listened to this song 3-4 times yesterday. This morning, without thinking, I was humming the tune and realized you had hooked me! Great song. Lots of energy. Kelly did a fantastic job with video, as always. Best with headphones, or in my case, Bluetooth hearing aids. I'm 70.
Proper pop music. I’ve been despairing of hearing a new proper pop song again. Can’t define what good pop song is except when you hear it. It’s all about first impressions.

I have loved everything you guys have done, but this, this is 1000% what you guys should be thinking if you want to put together another “album” worth of originals. Allison can do anything vocally, and this tune didn’t even need any amazing guitar highlights which we all know is way available with Josh. Some people think pop music is basic and shallow, but it is popular for a freaking reason. I don’t necessarily know the reason, but all I can say is this was great and I really hope you both do more of this. Some people might think it is selling out, but it makes me happy, and can’t we all use some more happiness. Thank you!!
This is how music is delivered in 2023. This took high skills and talent in multiple areas. But most of all, it was fun!! Congrats to the whole production team. You are trend setters.
