    I am 62 and have had some sort of back pain since I was a kid. It got bad in high school, maybe injury from falling off horses, over use, poor posture, unhealthy diet. It's not just old age creeping on you. I've heard that it's starting in young ppl. What's really going on here? I have chronic fatigue too and am wondering if anyone else is experiencing extreme fatigue by always being in so much pain, depression too. I have read that chronic pain changes the brain. I do some exercises then I need to go lay down, usually on ice. Thank you for your videos, it does feel good to do them.

    In the last few months, I have tried out several exercises to alleviate my spinal stenosis problem. As I came across your video, I realized that your set of exercises encompasses all the aspects that I require, ranging from spinal decompression to strengthening the core muscles, squats, glutes, calves, balance, and more. I am considering replacing my low chin-up bar with your recommended kitchen counter, which I believe is the perfect height for all these movements. Thank you, Dr. Kuhn, for providing an excellent series of therapeutic exercises.

    I am a tall female. I have always had difficulty doing squats. Now that I am 75 , when getting up from a chair is difficult. I am excited because using the kitchen counter I am doing a squat, see where this goes, but this is encouraging. Thanks

    I can hardly believe it! But YES it worked! I have DDD, I was waking up every. Morning in pain, in pain if I walked to far, stood to long, sat to long. It almost felt like a pinched nerve. I did this routine once and I'm free from that pain! I'll be doing this everyday and I feel like I'll be able to build from there. Thank you so much.

    I’m definitely going to try these! I’m suffering with DDD so bad. I can rarely get through my stretches and strengthening exercises from my Physiotherapist. I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to go on disability from work because that’s what’s killing me. Slowly, every day. It’s exhausting. I’m only 58. I’m too young for this 😢

      How are you. Please don’t give up. I have had the same problem since I was fifty seven. I had spinal fusion surgery in 2015,.unfortunately a mri showed seven diagnoses..all bad. I have severe spinal stenosis, facet arthopathy, bulging discs, …on and on. I also spasm in the morning for hours. I do take Tramodal for pain, but I have learned to meditate, try to distract yourself and strengthen your core as well as you can. I have a torn disc so I have had more pain lately but don’t give up. I found out lots of people have all of these as we age. I hope you have found hope. I am not having more surgery.

      @@PouchMasterwith you there. It started for me around 37 after my last daughter. I’ve found healing through reiki, stretching and herbs. I’ve come a long way but I still have numbness from my toes to my back and I can’t not work a 8 hour job standing on my feet. I am back in the gym strengthening my body and it’s been helping me feel more protected. My body felt so weak fr.

      I think it's because the opening where the nerve goes through is narrowing because of the lack of disk. I think these exercises are to help open up that opening more.

    Not sure why they call it a disc disease as its a completely inappropriate term for degenerating discs. Usually its a loading issue and posture over time with incorrect movement patterns.

    Funny, I've naturally been doing most of these without seeing or having anyone recommending them. When I'm cooking, waiting for something to cook or boil etc.
    Are you holding onto the sink for the ones at the beginning?
    Are they skechers you're wearing? They one of the worst shoes

    • @arthritisadventure
      @arthritisadventure  2 роки тому

      That is great! The sink is a great way to modify but you don’t necessarily have to use the sink. And no they are not Skechers.
